I kind of thought Tampa was the team to play Houston. It seems the 49ers would be the team you would want your best run defending lineman to play.

The Lions current TE coach was the TE coach in Arizona so there was some familiarity. Seems like a good fit and can probably handle the Brock Wright role.

Apparently Brock Wright has a broken forearm. He's definitely going to be out.

I like to read other forums and there is a great thread going in the Cowboys forum about how the Lions are ahead of the Cowboys. The consensus is the Lions draft better. The counter argument is that the Lions miss on picks too, look at the Tavai and Okudah picks! Poor guys.

Goff seems to be hit or miss on his spiral. I've seen him rip some tight spirals and then he throws wobblers. I think it's his hand size. Sometimes he just doesn't get a good grip. Goff has the smallest hands in the NFL (along with Burrow) and Stafford has some of the biggest hands in the NFL and can rip it like no one else.

Supposed to be 70 and sunny in Santa Clara. This is also Goff's neck of the woods and where he played college ball. The weather won't be an issue.

McVay is such an overrated coach. His QB needed coaching and he ran him out of town and paid premium draft picks to make him go away. He way overpaid for Stafford because of his mismanagement of Goff.
