The Billups thing happened in the 90’s before social media. He was then a bust and journeyman and not a star so it didn’t grab attention.

I think Mills is going to win handily. The issue is how popular this guy became among the left nationally. Bernie Sanders doubled down on him after the Nazi tattoo, the POD Save losers still support him, and he was getting funding from somewhere. Dems did stuff the ballot box for Fetterman.
