  1. Once the QBs were off the board, that pick became less valuable as we've seen with the Levis slide. Still, 12 and 34 seemed fair for 6.
  2. Who knows if this is true but I don't take Holmes to be a BS'er.
  3. So effectively the Lions got Goff, Melifonwu, Williams and Gibbs for Stafford. Honestly has the potential to be a really good trade for the Lions.
  4. Campbell is a much better athlete than I thought.
  5. Arizona has the 33rd pick? I guess from Houston? We didn't even get their best 2nd round pick?
  6. Christ, we've reached the point where Youtubers are announcing the picks.
  7. St Brown was also a 4th round pick and Tom Brady a 6th round pick. Knowing what we know now, they would all be drafted higher than they were.
  8. You can see a Saints thing going here. Gibbs and Montgomery have the potential to be Kamara and Ingram.
  9. I kind of hope they trade up or something. Don't really want three 2nd round picks.
  10. Thought they may have went Levis.
  11. Gibbs isn't just a rusher, he's also a pass catcher. I've seen comparisons to Kamara who's someone who averages around 1,300 all purpose yards and double digit TDs. Goff and the Rams went to a Super Bowl with a strong run game. They probably could have got him later but whatever. I don't like the Campbell pick but teams did run over the Lions at times. The Eagles game and the Seattle game come to mind. They simply couldn't stop them to get the ball back. There's also the Carolina game.
  12. I don't get some of the LB decisions either. Ironically, Malcolm Rodriguez was a great pick.
  13. I mean, if they knew Campbell would have been available to them back in March, maybe they don't sign Anzalone.
  14. I do too but lets slow our roll on Seattle. Most everyone here would have considered Witherspoon a reach for the Lions especially after passing on Carter and Wilson.
  15. Before the draft, people were saying it would be a reach to pick Witherspoon at 6 and now we're praising Seattle for picking him at 5?
  16. I would still trade back into the 1st for one of these receivers.
  17. I do like Gibbs. He may or may not been there at 18 but he's also not the type of player I would be afraid to lose out on either.
  18. The Lions evaluation of LB does leave something to be desired.
  19. I'm kind of surprised they took a LB this high.
  20. Man, this isn't shaping up to be a great draft.
  21. LOL I've been pretty clear I don't care for the pick. I like the player but 12 seemed to be a reach. It also isn't sky falling bad where Holmes is suddenly Matt Millen.
  22. That wasn't very nice of New England.
