I don't trade up. I trade down if anything unless it costs very little like last year when they jumped from 32 to 12. I suspect the asking price will be steep.
This reminds me of the scene in The Office where Dunder Mifflin is attempting to buyout Michael and Charles wants Dwight to be the lead man and then he talks about using bees. Charles had this image of Dwight and was completely let down. Same vibes here.
The Bears have the worst pass rush in the league. No way they pass on Anderson. Seattle also has a poor offensive line. I see more mocks mocking a QB to Detroit than Seattle. Guess more people think Geno Smith is the real deal. It would be a bummer if Anderson and Carter are off the board. I would try to trade out to a team like Carolina.
We're on the same page here. There's something I just don't like about McVay. He's got that Patricia type arrogance but he actually wins. I feel like he's the type if the Rams continue to lose that players will turn on him but I also think he is the type to bail before it gets to that point.
I agree with that assessment. I feel, though, after you committed the amount of money you did to Goff and basically signal he is your franchise QB, you should adapt your system to him. That doesn't seem like great coaching to me.
I didn't pay much attention to those Fisher teams but just assumed it was because he was a rookie and only played 7 games. I do seem to recall talks of bust and some reluctance to play him.
