  1. At the risk of this being brought back up a year from now out of context and completely wrong, I'm not sure I do that trade. Stafford is under contract through age 38. The Rams can't even trade him because the dead cap hit would be $50 million. The Rams loaded up for a Super Bowl run but this could get ugly.
  2. Goff is top 10 in yards, TDs, QB rating and QBR and the Lions offense is top 10. I'm slowing the roll on going for a QB. Two top 15 picks, two 2nd round picks and a top 3rd rounder can net a couple starters. I have a feeling Anderson will be off the board by the Lions pick but I really think the interior of the line needs more work so it may not be the worst thing.
  3. If you take away the New England game, the Lions would have a +20 point differential which would be double that of Minnesota's and Minnesota has won 5 more games.
  4. So what are Anibal Sanchez and Doug Fister up to since the Mets are putting together the 2013 Tigers rotation?
  5. Goff is top 10 in yards, TDs, QB rating and QBR. Just saying... *Ducks*
  6. If they win 9 games I will be pretty happy regardless if they make the playoffs or not. The Lions have had a brutal schedule. They had the toughest schedule of any team in the league coming into this Jacksonville game and they are still in playoff contention. Arguably their best player from the draft still hasn't gotten involved yet. Lot of upside to this team right now.
  7. I know the Lions lost to Seattle, but I'm not convinced they are better than the Lions right now. I think that game goes differently if it's played today.
  8. Poking around the Jaguars forum and a guy has this in his signature:
  9. I'm wondering how often is has happened a team has been shutout in a season and finished top 10 in scoring offense that season.
  10. That tie really mucked things up. The Lions held the tiebreaker against both the Giants and Washington, now that doesn't matter unless of course the Lions tie as well.
  11. James Houston has played 10 snaps on defense in his NFL career. James Houston has 3 sacks.
  12. Hurts really didn't have a great game throwing the ball against the Lions. He was able to make a lot of plays running the ball.
  13. It's ok to say they are a good team. They've played the toughest schedule in the NFL coming into this game. Philadelphia, Minnesota and Buffalo are a combined 30-6 and the Lions lost by a total of 10 points and it wasn't a case of them being down big and making the score close at the end.
  14. I can't imagine the screeching if Dan Campbell didn't go for it on 4th and short late in OT on the edge of FG range like Daboll.
