  1. I called John James. His DC number I only get dead air, and his Michigan number I get a voicemail. I left a voicemail letting him know my intention to volunteer for the Benson campaign and tell as many people in Michigan as I can how he voted to take away their healthcare if he votes for this bill. I encourage others here to call his office. He's running for governor so he's the one rep we should be focusing on in Michigan. His DC number is (202) 225-4961 and Michigan number is (586) 498-7122.
  2. Harris got 6 million fewer votes than Biden. It's obvious a lot of Dems sat home.
  3. Biden literally retired and came back because he was the only one who could defeat Trump and did. He wasn't young in 2020 and voters chose him over younger options like Buttigieg and Klobochar. Despite being an "old war-horse" he was the most progressive president since Johnson. He ended the war in Afghanistan, canceled millions of student debt, passed the large investment in climate in history, capped prescription drugs, and was the most LGBT friendly president in history and we threw that all away over Gaza.
  4. They told us we had to vote against Biden because he was doing a genocide. Now that your uncommitted vote did nothing, you now have to vote the guy I told you not to vote for and was doing a genocide. Absolutely insane. I am not voting for anyone who supported uncommitted. I'm volunteering on the Stevens campaign just to tell phone bank and tell as many people how El-Sayed spent more effort resisting Dems than Trump.
  5. Polls after the debate showed no change but Dems wet themselves and started attacking Biden. He was cooked when the Dems turned on him. Debates don't matter to Trump because Republicans never turn on their own.
  6. Republicans fell in line with Trump in 2016 when he looked like he was destined to lose. Republicans fall in line, Democrats fall in love.
  7. They'll probably spend lifetimes arguing whether his own party should have ran a campaign against him asking voters not to vote for him. Democrats abandoned the only candidate to defeat Trump and put up more resistance to their own candidate. They never stuck with Biden during his presidency the way Republicans stuck with Trump.
  8. Since there isn't much going on right now, here's a good article explaining the Lions cap situation. Goff has a huge cap number next year, and I knew there had to be good reason for it and there is. They essentially attached a void year to his contract, but with no salary. They can restructure next year and move as much salary to that void year as needed for their contract extension. The Lions have been pretty forward thinking in how they are going to keep their core together. https://atozsports.com/nfl/detroit-lions-news/jared-goff-restructure-can-help-with-jameson-williams-jahmyr-gibbs-brian-branch/
  9. All of this was totally avoidable if we would have just supported the nice old man.
  10. Aren't the Fever in Indiana?
  11. Don't forget these same pro-life people were willing to sacrifice seniors just to keep stores open.
  12. How is Threads still a top app?
  13. Probably next year. I cannot imagine they would stretch Lilliard only to have Giannis leave.
  14. Something tells me the media wouldn’t cover those emails the way they covered Hilary’s.
  15. He probably shouldn't have tweeted that, but Schumer did everything he could. Dems are in the minority. Elections have consequences. In hindsight it probably wasn't a good idea to run campaigns to uncommit and abandon your candidate.
  16. The bill passed. Murkowski caved. Dems need to start investing in Alaska. Peltola proved a Dem can win in Alaska. Just need to keep the rat****ers like David Hogg away.
