2024 was the first Republicans won the popular vote in 20 years. Dems are actually winning as we speak. The issue with the Dems is they keep chasing this white male vote while bleeding blacks and Hispanics.

What? The incumbent party always struggles in mid terms. Republicans got wiped out in 2018 with Trump in office. Dems literally gained a senate seat in 2022.

I hate to have to keep reminding people doing these autopsies of Democrats, but Democrats won down ballot in five states Trump won. Dems have been winning bigly in special elections. They over performed in 2022. There was a blue wave in 2018. It's not easy to go up against a cult figure in Trump. Remove him from the ballot and Dems are fine.

It was never about policy. Job growth has slowed. GDP growth has slowed. Interest rates are up. Inflation is up, all things he pretended to care about. It was all about banning trans people.

To be clear, she left the party because of the way they turned on Biden, not because she has gone right wing.

I will say, he's basically lived around black people his whole life. Grew up in Detroit and didn't leave the city until 2009 when he moved to Eastpointe, the only black city in Macomb County. I gave some people a pass on voting for Trump in 2016, but I've cut everyone out who voted for him a 2nd or 3rd time. My mother nor my siblings have ever voted for Trump. I have cousins who did and I didn't want to talk to them anyways although they are Vikings fans and I can finally talk **** to them now.
