  1. Kwesi has been terrible at drafting. It's amazing how good the Vikings are given their poor drafts. It has to catch up with them eventually. They only have 3 picks in the draft, a 1st and two 5ths.
  2. In terms of draft picks, Holmes in 4 drafts have drafted 8 Pro Bowlers and/or alternates but we'll say 9 since if eligible Hutchinson would be a Pro Bowler. He acquired another via trade in Goff and signed 5 in Raymond, Bates, Zeitler, Montgomery, and Reader. All of those players weren't big name free agents. Only Montgomery singed for longer than two years. You could argue 6 with Glasgow, but I credit the previous regime for Decker, Ragnow, Fox and Glasgow. Holmes is averaging over two Pro Bowlers per draft and 1 in free agency per year.
  3. 7 Pro Bowlers and 11 alternates. Biggest snub is Joseph. Goff is the starter for the NFC.
  4. The Lions also had Stafford then who doesn't beat good teams.
  5. The Fontes and Potsy are the two winniest coaches in Lions history. Those must of been some happy days.
  6. Not going to lie, when the Lions signed Anzalone, I did not expect him to be an important cog in a 14-2 Super Bowl contender.
  7. If I'm the Vikings, I probably franchise Darnold. Let Darnold show he isn't a one year wonder and then sign him to a long term deal. If they do let Darnold walk, They could always bring back Cousins on a year deal while they prep McCarthy.
  8. The one game Martin played; he did not look good. This coaching staff doesn't give up on players, and we've seen players make big leaps in year three like Barnes and Melifonwu. I think Anzalone gets activated, but not sure he plays. Might as well activate him now instead of using a playoff activation on him.
  9. Speaking of QBR, Aaron Rodgers had the lowest QBR of the season yesterday with a 1.2.
  10. His QB rating was 132.4 for the game. Purdy was 116. Goff's QBR, the developed by ESPN, was 73 and Purdy's was 85.
  11. QB rating rates Goff very well. Goff's 113.6 QB rating is second in the NFL behind only Lamar Jackson. Goff is going to shatter the Lions single season QB rating. QBR is a stat developed by ESPN. I've noticed it seems to heavily favor mobile QBs.
  12. If you adjust for defense, that even favors Goff. The 49ers pass defense is actually pretty good. It's their one strength. They allow among the fewest passing yards in the league and Goff carved them up.
  13. When was the last time the Lions and Vikings played in primetime? The Lions and Packers have had multiple primetime games. The Lions and Bears had some primetime games back in the Cutler days, but I can't remember a Lions-Vikings primetime game.
  14. QBR and PFF don't seem to like Goff. PFF coming into this game had Goff as the 18th ranked QB. Purdy was 13th despite having half the TD passes and the same number of INTs.
  15. So Goff was 26/34 for 303 yards and 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Purdy was 27/35 for 377 and 3 TDs and 2 INTs. Purdy's QBR was 85.5 and Goff's was 73.3. So Purdy has two more INTs, but 74 more passing yards, and that equals a 12 point advantage in QBR?
