McNeil tore his ACL. Likely won't even be ready by the start of next season.

I think this may have been Goff's best game as a Lion, and it isn't just because of the stat sheet. He made plays out of structure and looked comfortable doing it. The pass to Patrick for the TD, the 10+ yard run for a 1st down, spinning out of a sack on the final drive, and a couple other plays where he scrambled, reset and got completions. He's not going to be confused with a Mahomes or Allen, but if he makes one or two of those type of plays a game it takes his game to a whole other level because he was making tight window passes out of the pocket all game. The secondary wasn't bad. The Bills receivers didn't have a great game. Shakir is their best receiver and had 6 catches for 39 yards. Coleman had one catch for 60 yards when he got lost in coverage. The Bills leading receivers were RBs and TEs. The injuries to the linebackers were exposed. Problem is, Kmet is a decent TE and Swift can catch it out of the backfield. That will definitely need to be addressed.

Goff becomes the first QB in history to throw for over 400 yards, 5 TDs, 0 INT, and lose.

On the flip side, the offense is healthy. If they can run and chew clock, the offense can carry the team.

So Geno Smith went out with an injury. There's a good chance the Vikings play Seattle without Smith.

The Bills aren't terrible against the run. The thing is, they are among the best at stuffing the run for no gain. They also are among the worst in giving up big runs. The key is to keep running against them, and you will break some runs. The problem was the Lions got behind early and couldn't stick with the run.

Moseley is a good man corner if he can stay healthy.

Especially with the injuries now. Looks like Davis and Dorsey are done for the year. You are going to have to rely on Vildor or Moseley.

Stop quoting TP. He needs a therapist.

Goff throws for almost 500 yards, 5 TDs, no INTs, and loses. He's basically Matthew Stafford.

That why I say you kick it right at them.

This has not been a good game for Ragnow.

If the offense is unstoppable, does it matter where they get the ball?

I think on an onside kick I would just kick it as hard as I could at the face of the receiving team. Just bounce it off them.

I would have been in favor of doing it if you didn't have to declare.

That was a pretty good kick. You want that high bounce.

Not sure I would onside here.

Goff has been playing well out of structure recently.

The defense needs to adjust their strategy with McNeil and Davis out.

McNeil's reaction makes me think it's bad.

This is getting ridiculous.

This run defense has been the most shocking.

All things considered, being down 7 is not bad given how this game has gone.
