I am loving watching all these average or worse players get signed in free agency to teams other than the Tigers. I am actually excited when I see another marginal name and it’s not attached to us. Let other teams waste money on trash. Great work Captain Harris.

Update: He posted an apology on his Twitter acknowledging his mistake and general douchery. Internet rumors are he had second thoughts on Oregon and wanted to go back to ND but the Coach Freeman said no after watching him pull the hat stunt.

This is Peyton Bowen. He is a 5* Safety from the Dallas area that had been a longtime ND verbal. He pulled a new twist on the immature fake hat stunt by putting on the the ND hat only to psyche everyone out and then announce for Oregon. He signed the LOI for Oregon right there on the podium but never sent it in. Today he signed and sent in for Oklahoma.

Not sure how they will integrate into YouTubeTV but it has an unlimited DVR space so you can still record everything and watch it back. The ability to watch easily from a phone or computer is really nice and keeps me out of trouble with the family for not needing to sit on the couch to watch sports. I really they hope they don’t pump up the price to pay for Sunday Ticket.

I love what Harris has been doing this offseason. Focus on internal development and figure out what they have in their current prospects. This team isn’t going anywhere this season even with the benefit of being in the worst division in baseball. I’m not sure it really makes sense to spend at all in this market.

Ragnow the only Lion selected to the Pro Bowl. St. Brown completely robbed as Lamb and McLaurin chosen ahead of him. Ex-Lions Slay, Diggs, and Hock all make the NFC team.

The Beatles had so much technical innovation in recording due to the genius of George Martin. Both bands started with the similar influences in blues and skiffle. Those can still be heard as the Stones main influence throughout their career. I’m not sure they evolved that much musically. That’s just fine since they were so good at it and became an influential live band. The Beatles were just the opposite and had their music evolve as much as almost any band that you can think of and they were only together for less than a decade. The combination of the public insanity and the love of playing around with new recording technologies kept them as mainly a studio band.

Of all the aggressive calls he’s made over the last two years, this was the worst one in my book. It was not the right situation to take that kind of risk. Yet, it worked and turned out to be a pivotal move in winning the game. Weird game this football.
