I don't disagree that the evidence was lacking and hence, nothing wrong with your initial response, but then the subsequent nitpicking of the evidence, versus an argument regarding the statement itself is where I have my issue. I think if everyone is willing to be truthful and pays attention to politics, they can agree that MSNBC caters to the left. (Note: This does not mean I am drawing an equivalent to what Fox does with the right. )
-
You obviously haven't learned anything. Most people are fine with MSNBC because they agree with their bias, hence there is no bias. Plus you're both sidesin' if you complain about anything on the left.
-
I should have clarified that I meant prior to this last election.

There has been no proof, let alone allegations that i'm aware of regarding anything like this. I'm not saying don't look for it, but let's slow down on the stolen elections talk.

Abortion and Trump is my biggest concern. Look at the debate last week when they talked abortion, outside of Pence they all know it's a loser position for them, but outside of one, they all were good with a federal ban. Trump seems to know abortion is a loser and seems to be leaning into it. His cultish ability could keep the pro-life folks around, possibly by winking and referencing 'his' SCOTUS, while actually trying to take abortion off the table as a federal issue. Ultimately I think you're right on what should be the Dem strategy though.

Crazy watching twitter try and deal with this guy. Hero to the right for a week, then the left mocked him, now the left is embracing him, any day now for the right to start mocking him.

I guess that's good, I just can't believe she won't backtrack it in a minute if she sees a new path. Unrelated I saw a comment that Hutchinson and Burnum looked too competent to be seriously considered for the GOP. Sad, but true.

Has anyone heard about why he was in Moscow? Sounds like he's been in St. Petersburg for quite, possibly he felt safe enough to travel to Moscow, possibly after being asked to come? Putin is a monster, but he's smart too. I suspect the reason why he lived for so long was the fact that Putin wanted to make sure Russia controlled Wagner prior to eliminating Prigozhin.

For the little of it I could handle to watch, I agree. I will say I saw Haley rail against GOP spending which was surprising. I imagine she'll be spending today backtracking everything she said and praising Trump.

I feel like this gets back to my follow up question. To explain, I'll rehash what I read and detail my response: A tweet is embedded which indicates a witness changed lawyers and changed his story. Follow up tweet states "Really raises the obvious question: did the Trump PAC paid lawyer advise him to lie to protect Trump?" I read this as did the lawyers that are being paid for by a Trump PAC advise this witness to lie. I feel like if you would have seen this reply there wouldn't have been any issue: gehringer_2 said: Very tough to prove as even if the client told them they were lying, they are not required to inform the court. I think we all know what's going on behind closed doors, but likely won't be able to prove it. But you saw "ewsieg said". To detail my response, I believe it would be tough to prove if the lawyer advised the witness to lie. With that said, I personally would not be surprised if during lawyer/client conversations, Trump paid lawyers were telling the clients to lie, or as Ratko's story played out, indicate why it might be in their best interest to say certain things.

I'm not looking to start a fight here and maybe I just notice it more because I don't post as often anymore, but do you question everything I say on this board? This isn't the first time where I actually felt like I was adding a few thoughts that didn't argue against what i'd term as 'widely held beliefs' on this forum and yet you questioned them. In rereading my response to Pfife I still don't see how anyone might consider that as some type of pro-trump response (when it's actually the opposite).
-
I tend to prefer the "fictional" Ratko version of what happened and think that's the most obvious, but i'm sure the prosecutors did what you said as well. Personally I believe both happened, but again, the Ratko version will be tough to prove.
-
I doubt they'll interpret it the same way. Trump is probably thinking "damn, that is so cool, can I do that?"
-
As Pfife says... The obvious

i'm very jealous. Carlisle is one of my favorites, Pink is one of my wife's. Already started looking at tickets, but my wife's health is hit and miss unfortunately, so may not be able to pull the trigger until later tomorrow.

I could definitely see that said, behind closed doors. But I could also see a response asking if she's with Biden or if she is content with going against the democratic party...again, behind closed doors. For all we know, it could be good cop / bad cop being played between the feds and Georgia as well. Regardless, at the very least, it's damn entertaining.
-
Mark Meadows is included, some what makes me think maybe he didn't flip for the feds. I'd think if he did, I'd think the feds would have worked with Georgia to not charge him here, at least not yet.

Press conference right now.....

Black Michael Phelps (pulled from #blacktwitter) is the hero we didn't realize we needed.

I believe Meatloaf even sang some, not sure if that was in studio or on the road (or both). Over this past weekend I was talking music with my daughter and her friends, one mentioned that of her dad's music, about the only one she really likes is Van Halen. She knew the name Eddie Van Halen, but always thought he was the lead singer.
-
As in songs he originally sang live...which is....Cat Scratch Fever...maybe? Most of his big songs were Derek St. Holmes, correct?

There is a good argument that this is true. Look at our China and Southern border policies right now compared to Trump. Rhetoric is different, but the policies themselves are very similar. For them, maybe just point out abortion though. Even if it doesn't affect their daily lives, I think the last election showed how many folks will bother showing up to vote over it. As for the old/young swing, i've heard that argument from democrats for 30 years and my dad (big JFK fan/democrat growing up) remembers his dad saying the same thing. At some point you need to produce results if you want to hang on to those voters though.

I never thought you'd become a Trump supporter and/or Russian bot. 😉
