  1. I feel like our lineup would welcome a 'maddeningly inconsistent' .900 OPS guy. Granted, I feel our defense is a bigger reason for our 1st place position then just about anything else, and we'd take a hit there.
  2. He doesn't need the money and it's worth to Bezos is far beyond what someone would be willing to pay. The hope is, once Trump is gone, it's use will drop to nothing. Rather it's restored or just curls up and dies at that point is probably the real question.
  3. Wasn't the funniest episode they've done, but holy crap, they went scorched earth. I want the meeting with secret service televised. Good news for Cheney/Kinzinger/Obama because they all moved down the priority list for Trump.
  4. Crap, sorry, just reread Chasfh's statement. I thought it was reported that Bondi was informed Trump was in the file in May. I see Chasfh asked who the source would be Bondi told Trump he was in the files. I apologize for the trouble, I see I was incorrect. Back to my original statement, Trump surrounds himself with vile humans that will do anything to get ahead. I wouldn't be surprised if Vance, Bondi, Patel...heck Bongino already did a 'either Bondi or I go', any of them could be the source. Regardless it goes back to what I said previously, it shouldn't be surprising to anyone he's in the files. It still doesn't mean he's guilty of anything, but if he was, I certainly would understand the insistence on trying to change the subject or claiming it's not a real issue.
  5. Seems like you're missing my point. The fact that Pam Bondi was informed that Trump was in the files IS technically news. But, as you say, they were best friends for years, associated together, were on each others planes, etc. Anyone that hasn't had their head buried in sand since Epstein was first arrested knows this and already knew Trump was in the files.
  6. Honestly, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if Maureen Comey was used to verify it. Don't get me wrong, this is new information, I get that. But it's just confirmation of information that everyone already knew which is all I was saying. My mom spent most of her life as a house wife in the middle of Michigan, but her brother was in the Secret Service on the presidential detail. Do I know if there is an FBI file on my mom, nope, but I'm pretty confident there is. Honestly I hope there is, I hope the secret service dug into my uncle and his direct relatives enough to know that he could be trusted. So if 'news' came out today that my mom had an FBI file on her, it technically would be 'new' information, but it's also a 'nothing burger' in the sense the file means nothing. What's inside the file is the real question.
  7. Honestly, I think this is the left's play against the Russiagate crap Trump is throwing out like it's brand new. There is nothing new regarding Russiagate, there really hasn't been anything new about Epstein. Well played by those that are ensuring the Epstein story stays in the spotlight.
  8. This is the part that most conspiracy theorist are so easy to get past when they claim secret cabal's control everything. Too many people would need to be involved in order to erase it. Of those involved, every one would not only need to be MAGA, they would need to be willing to do break the law for MAGA. It took Trump 10 years to cultivate an admin of 20-30 people that are willing to lie on his behalf and get ~270 that talk behind his back but for his sake at least don't have a backbone to push back on him. How many previous Trumpers now talk crap about him once they stop working for him too? Yet somehow, everyone right down to a random records mgmt employee giving someone access to a room is going to not only be willing to break rules to help Trump, he's not going to tell a single person about it.
  9. Absolutely, but instead of trying to confirm, Dems chose to ignore legitimate signs of trouble, like no cabinet meetings, and rallied around him instead and accepting the excuses Jill and Hunter were providing to the rest of the admin staff. Another example how Hunter helped screw the democrat party.
  10. 50 intelligence officers say this is Russian disinformation along with the coordinated response by the left was a joke. I don't think we really disagree much on what that laptop really showed. It was mostly just an embarrassment for Joe. But, the DNC and Biden knew and they chose to lie. Simple fact. I know you're fine getting lied to by someone with a D next to their name because you're fine listening to their excuse, but a lot of people, especially those that don't tend to lean left or right per se don't like it. Again, I'm not saying he was the main reason, but he was part of the problem and certainly a much bigger problem then Clooney, Carville, and Axelrod combined were.
  11. Weird how a guy that has no interest in governing and would rather just golf is one of the worst presidents ever. It's about who is around them. Biden had credible people around him that governed at minimum, alright. I'm not ready to say he's the most successful since Johnson, still need some time to see how his policies shake out, but there was a reason I was willing to vote for a guy that I wouldn't have been surprised if he spent all day eating pudding, watching the game show network, and telling his family how Beau came to visit him today. Back to Hunter, seriously f that guy. His actions, and how Biden/DNC lied to defend him definitely caused voter suppression once people started to learn the full truth about the type of person he is and how the left was willing to try and pull the wool over everyone's eyes about it. Was he the whole reason, not even close, but he's part of the problem and I'd prefer he stay out of the cameras as all that will do it further stain his fathers legacy.
  12. From a guy that thinks it is insane and crazy that Biden was allowed to hide from the American people so his decline wasn't seen even though I would have still preferred him over Trump....**** you Hunter. He needs to shut the hell up, he's a major reason Biden didn't win too and ultimately that was his own fault. Clooney simply pointed out what was becoming evident to some and the Biden family wanted to keep that hidden from the electorate.
  13. Trump will say he got him fired, but Trump always takes credit for stuff he has nothing to do with. Maybe this is over the merger, but Trump already got his pound of flesh with 60 minutes. Even if Kamala would have won, the networks would have had to make a tough decision on how they handle late night TV between the salaries they are paying and the fact that ratings have consistently dropped over the hey day of late night TV many years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if Kimmel is next and that simply has to do with the fact that his contract is up. His only saving grace may be that Colbert is gone.
  14. It's the timing, I don't think it had anything to do with Trump. All three networks made a play at late night after the Leno/Letterman era and yes Colbert arguably is the best rated now, but shares continue to slip due to the greater competition, plus now you compete with cable news who puts more effort into their late night shows, and cutting the cord. Plus Fallon is signed for multiple years still. I probably would have guess Kimmel would be the one left out and he still may be as well.
  15. Imo, he's trying to hide the fact he didn't know crap, but talked authoritatively that there was "big stuff" in the files. They are the dog that caught the car and now has no idea what to do.
  16. Sounds like you're one of those crazy 4th amendment advocates.
  17. Oh, than let me fix your previous statement now that I have clarification.
  18. Hopefully his followers realize he was always full of crap and that podcast money dries up too.

  20. That's exactly what Democrats want their ardent supporters to think.
  21. So I never believed the grand conspiracies regarding Epstein that he had a list or that there was this large group of pedo's and Epstein was going to be used to bring them all down. The fact that the Prince Andrew stuff got out to me signifies that Epstein and Andrew liked young girls and that was probably it. They used their fame and money to 'hide in plain sight' around other rich and famous people. All that said, the plea deal in Florida was shady. Was it just because he had high powered friends? Possibly. But as noted by others here, who is going to stand up and defend a guy that was caught with this type of behavior? There was a single reporter that said Acosta claimed Epstein 'belonged to the CIA', and as far as I know he's never denied that either, just responded with a cheeky 'I've heard that reported, but that doesn't mean it's a fact'. Again, it's not beyond the scope that a state AG dropped the ball and let him get a sweetheart plea deal. We've seen Nessell screw up plenty of times and at least in this forum she's probably considered one of the best. The logical next step though, at least to me, would be to publish a list of actual facts and an overview of the investigation and why ultimately they didn't believe any names they had belonged on a 'list'. Maybe Trump knew his followers wouldn't react well with that and just told Bondi/Patel to just state it and hope it breezes over. Maybe Bondi/Patel realized how bad a report would be if they dispelled everything they used to help Trump get elected in the first place. But the little bit of conspiracy theory I have for this, it had names of people in both parties and other high level people that they have no proof even knew about Epstein's proclivity towards kids that were in the files simply because Epstein, just like those people on 'the list', love the spotlight and love being around other rich and famous people, but the association with Epstein will hurt them.
  22. Just finished Ice Road - Vengeance. This is a part II actually. A co-worker dared me to watch the first one and we've thrown conspiracy theory ideas to each other since about if it's just a bad movie OR an absolutely brilliant movie in that they went out of their way to make it such a horrible movie. My buddy felt Vengeance didn't live up to the first one, but I disagree, it was absolutely horrible. Still not sold that the movie is brilliant though. Regardless, 9/10, will probably watch as soon as I con my son into watching a movie with me.
  23. Well said, I should clarify that when I said it was sad, it wasn’t a complaint on his performance, but just a clear indication that he’s not long for the world and was giving it his all.
  24. I was told the opening bands were fantastic, but watching Ozzy was just sad. Saw some clips on Twitter and it seemed alright. Jason Mamoa stomping around the mosh pit for Pantera was actually pretty cool.
  25. I'm actually all for Elon doing this. Short term, I see it hurting republicans more, but I do think that depending on the issue, you could see both parties seeing and ultimately addressing concerns. Most people write off third parties, but generally the reason why they don't work is before they can get too big, one or both of the current major parties recognize a few good points from them and adopt them into their own fold. I don't have much hope for it, but it's not my money, so take a swing Elon.
