  1. There are incentives in Miller's contract for games finished which might mean Lange is being shopped for a bat. Donny Sands DFA to make room for Miller.
  2. With the addition of Miller maybe a deal for someone in the bullpen is a possibility.
  3. I'm happy with the other moves but this one is a head scratcher. Dude averages 4 BB/9 and had a .165 BABIP last year! He is not projected to be of much value. Seems someone younger could do the job for league minimum.
  4. $50 million signing bonus and no deferred money.
  5. Yamamoto signs with Dodgers for 12 years and $325 million.
  6. Flaherty deal still not official yet for some reason. The offseason is far from over but if Flaherty is signed, has Harris done enough? I'd still like to see them add a closer and maybe trade for a third baseman.
  7. Higher cost because they are hoping they can compete instead of having to flip good performers at the deadline. This way they compete but can give him a qualifying offer at the end of the season and get a draft pick.
  8. I can see them doubling up in the rotation like they did this season. Mize and Manning pitch four innings each in the same game. Olson pitched 100 innings, Skubal and Manning only 80 each. They won't want to drastically increase their workloads next year.
  9. Flaherty had an ok season and if he can build on it the Tigers can give him a qualifying offer. Turnbull has a lot more to prove at this point.
  10. I doubt they trade any young pitchers. Flaherty for one year and Maeda for two are not long term solutions. Looking at Flaherty's stats, seems he was let down by his defense a bit.
  11. Ohtani getting $2 million per year. $68 million deferred every year! The league is ok with that? Dodgers indeed. Tax dodgers.
  12. I still want them to add another starter and closer but I'm not sure who it could be.
  13. His contract reflects that, less than $5 million guaranteed. Working with Fetter and being closer to home should help. Plus he's not relied on to be the top guy.
  14. Glad to have the failed starter back.
  15. I wonder if more players will try to be two way players now.
  16. Hanifee back on a minor league deal.
  17. Someone has to catch bullpen sessions in spring training.
  18. Now it's uncertain. Does that mean we're not all meeting in Toronto for sushi?
  19. How hard is it to say yes to $600 million?
  20. Candy's deal is 3/$45 with a club option that would total $60 million.
  21. ERod's deal is 4/$80 with incentives plus a vesting option for a fifth year $99 million total.
  22. Sue the DBacks for always taking our sloppy seconds.
  23. Reds sign the Candy man for some reason...
  24. ERod to DBacks for four years.
  25. We only have roster space for Ohtani and Yamamoto anyway.
