    btw, are we over the laughable notion that scottie barnes is a better player than cade cunningham? and i knew the raptors would lose this game. they are the chokiest team ever. if we sign siakem - and i give it 50/50 odds that we sign him to a massive deal - he'll come here and choke too.

    without two centers in the game, the lane is open. 1) monty learn how to coach and not play two ground bound non-shooting centers at once; 2) troy learn how to construct a 2023 nba roster that doesnt have four centers, only one of whom is an actual nba starter (and he's 20!).

    goalie is the biggest issue, imo. husso hasnt worked out. lyon and reimers were brought in as backups, you cant blame them for not being patrick roy, but husso was traded for to be the starter and is paid like a starter, and he's been bad. if they had a good goalie they've got 4 or 5 more wins this season. you can say that about a lot of teams (hi jersey, hi edmonton), but the wings are one of them. goalies are weird, but the wings havent had goalie luck since bernier.

    lions without their best corner against cee dee lamb and dallas in dallas? oh boy. i hope the offensive line can control this game or this could get ugly.

    i still have a hard time seeing michigan winning this game. nick saban is not ryan day. he's not going to turtle when the going gets tough. and bama - like georgia - is loaded at the skill positions in ways michigan is not. bama is like penn state, only with a good offense and a great head coach. michigan will have to play very well, bama will need to turn the ball over, and we'll need some luck.

    i wish nothing but pain and humiliation for ohio state. gone are the days of mutual respect and rooting for the big ten out of conference. they can all lose forever for all i care.
