    really nice to see tork coming along now. this season is turning out to pretty well, especially if meadows can stick in the bigs.

    amon ra is second team all nfl. jared goff is really good but not great. does not get a contract extension. gibbs is a fantasy football demon. montgomery gets close to jamal williams' td production but has more yards. mosely barely plays. run defense remains a huge problem. hutchinson contines to improve and records double digit sacks. julian okwara has a better season than romeo...but not in detroit. brian branch is amazing. going into the draft the only question is whether the lions will trade up for a receiver or stay at 20 and take one there.

    10-7. lose the division to the vikings on a tie breaker. play dallas on the road in round one and lose. a statue is built to dan campbell.

    if the ncaa were actually serious about its rules, tennessee would be banned from the post season for a long time. but theyre not. so they have to tweet out that "its not a cheeseburger" thus telling everyone that it is, in fact, a cheeseburger.

    he's recovering from surgery. i doubt he'll be fully healthy until after the start of the season.

    i'm beginning to doubt mosely plays this season.

    those are the only examples that matter, almost everyone else is either on the team or off it. those guys are one of the few battles. especially if melifonwu is hurt. he's on the chopping block too. injury might save him one more season of nfl playchecks.

    levi was invisible against jax second and third string. not much from julian okwara either. made one play. but that's one more play than levi made. contrast that with cominskey who dominated.

    the defense was ok, but were playing against jax second string so they should look good. still, ghe secondary got dusted a number of times. the dline was ok but its not like they set the world on fire. no one on offense looked good. not one single player.

    i was in a mediation in ohio a couple years ago and that was my impression as well. a lot of people will never change. i was fine with the name, it was the mascot that needed to be retired.

    he has the one thing you can't teach: speed. then again, so does denzel mims. still early for sure. hopefully he gets healthy.

    they ran plays for him in the first preseason game and he didnt look great. he dropped a td pass and he may have ran the wrong route which caused an int. 7 targets for 2 receptions. sure its just a preseason game, but lets not pretend that he's set the world on fire. compare him to christian watson, garrett wilson, chris olave, drake london, jahan dotson, george pickens, skyy moore, alec pierce, treylon burke. he's looked worse and been less productive than almost all of his peers. its still very early, but he isnt playing because of injury or suspension and when he does he isnt producing as much as his peers.

    not every lions pick is going to work out. its too early to say jamo wont work, but the early signs arent promising. but its waaaaaaaay too early. especially for receivers, they take a long time to develop some times.

    harden will show up for the reasons you said. but he wont try. he'll show up fat(ter) and out of shape, then claim to be injured. a little baby who didnt get his way

    physically for sure. i think campbell is probably bigger than urlacher at this stage. urhlacher was a safety in college urlacher was also not very good as a rookie. he really took off once they moved into a cover 2 and he could use his speed.

    gustav was not an nhl regular. in many cases not even an nhl caliber player. stevie loves his veteran physical defensemen. its only for 2.3m for 2 years. my only concern is if were getting into ken holland territory if letting some of the prospects overcook in the minors. or.... there's another move coming that ships out some of those defense prospects.

    right before the season starts harden will announce he's having "psychological" issues and will sit out the year. ben simmons 2.0. that will be fine with me cause i hate watching him play (although he was better last year).
