if they get the 7th or 8th seed, how soon do they get bounced by boston/florida or the rangers? the rangers might sweep them. they never seem to play well against them. florida and boston they've been competive with. but were a long way away from that. jersey and pittsburgh are still nipping at their heels. this west coast road trip wont help them.

it showa you how far they have to go. otoh, they played vancouver pretty well straight up in detroit. a 7 game series would probably go 6 games. they have no answer to mcdavid, but neither does anyone else.

with harbaugh gone i dont think the ncaa will care as much. he'll get a show cause that the nfl will ignore. michigan will get a slap on the wrist. i'm not sure they would take anything more than a slap on the wrist lying down. other states have started litigation against the ncaa when they try to sanction universities in their state. michigan may follow suit if they try to take away victories. there is zero chance they try to vacate the national championship.
