albert breer on the radio in atlanta today saying the falcons job is a two man race between belicheck and harbaugh.
you might remember albert breer as the man who guaranteed harbaugh would never go to michigan and was a lock for the raiders job.
take anything buckeye breer says with a grain of salt.
i got the rams at +4. now its down to +3. i doubt it goes under 3.
pretty even matchup but i still like the lions because theyre playijg at home.
6 out of 7 "anonymous executives" in the athletic picked the lions. just dont ask how many picked michigan...
i wont really care until they have another losing streak close to 28 games OR when they get close to breaking the sixers' record for worst single season record of all time.
it will be funny when they do it and no one gets fired.
thinking about the playoffs, i was surprised they beat bama and was surprised they didnt beat washington by more.
their aversion to letting jj run or using play action allowed washington's defense to load the box with 8 guys after the first quarter. it wasnt until they needed a drive in the late third/early fourth before they finally started to use jj.
in fairness, all i hear is that jj was hurt.
i think they could have (and should have) dominated washington. their defense cant hang with michigan's running game unless they completely sell out.
otoh, i'm glad they didnt play texas because that team was built to beat michigan's offense. they would have been there too if sarkisian was smart enough to run the ball...
my wife's firm has a london office and they couldnt give tickets away to those london games.
the nfl is probably more popular in germany, they seem to be nfl crazy. which is why they should put the lions in germany because of amon ra.
according to srs, this was michigan's seventh best team of all time. behind the mad magicians, a few 1940s teams, and bo's 1973 squad.
1997 ranks 29th, btw. sandwiched in between the 2021 and 2022 teams.
how lucky was this team that the raptors decided to trade their best player the day before they played detroit?
if they dont make that trade on that day - so they wouldnt have barrett and quickley in the lineup - the pistons are probably looking at 35 straight losses right now instead of 6.
