it fits in the potential discussion. if he is all defense and has great vision and passing skills but cannot shoot, simmons is a good comp. simmons is a unique character in that he REFUSES to shoot and REFUSES to play, making every excuse in the book from back injuries to mythical psyche injuries that will conform with the cba guidelines. in that way, it does not fit. but in the skills category, it definitely fits if he cannot shoot.

not to be a debbie downer, but his shot is broke. if he can make it a viable - or even semi acceptable weapon - he's an all star. if not, he's tony allen.

most "power rankings" seem to have them in the middle, and many have them below the vikings. walterfootball has been hyping them for two years now. im always wary about lions hype. its the lions, something inevitably goes wrong. we'll see it when goff goes down in week one. 😞

reid would start on the pistons. stew would be a bench player on the wolves. like you said, its sort of an insignificant difference.

he would have been fine with 1-11 as long as there was no scandal. he's a god at northwestern. if anything, he would have been moved up the ladder to some sort of admin position. but he pissed off a player who went public with allegations that mobilized the moral outrage merchants in the chicago media so he had to go. brian kelly kills a kid at notre dame and the chicago media barely blinks. fitzgerald's team did naked pull ups and some kid cries about it and the media goes nuts. must be baseball season. slow news time.

the wings should sign patrick kane and trade draft picks and prospects for erik karlson so we can be the 8th seed next year. they need to placate the fans who are SO TIRED of not having a team make the playoffs. pistons did that when they dealt for blake griffin and got the 8th seed and swept in round one. but hey, at least they MADE THE PLAYOFFS!!!!! cause that's what's important to mcs.

husso wore down last year. they cant go into another season where he plays that many games.

theyre going to need big steps up from raymond, seider and edvinsson to be a playoff team. the atlantic division is TOUGH. i expect them to be in the hunt. i expect them to be better than last year. i do not expect them to make it. i give them a 30-40% chance to make it.

even if he didnt know, its his job to know. he's in charge of the program. that said, there are conflicting reports about whether this happened and the extent it did, with current players now saying the "whistleblower" told them he was just doing it to get fitzgerald fired, and that everything he's said has been overblown. i have no doubt that everything is overblown and taken out of context because its a media report. however, its probably still enough to get fitzgerald fired.

philly still has harden on their team, so if round one goes 7 games there is a great chance they dont have to guarantee Reed's deal.

rasmussen or perron will be on lines one aand two respectively. debrincat and raymond are too small to play together 5 v 5.

wiseman and duren cant play together. it clogs up the court too much. when duren was in the game, ivey looked much better. it doesnt help that they dont have a point guard to get him the ball. speaking of which, ausar is their best point player on this roster. he passes really well. but that said, ausar is not a 3 and d player yet because he cannot shoot. yet. hopefully he gets better as he gets older. he's a good enough athlete to figure it out. his ceiling? scottie pippen. his floor? great defensive player who cant shoot (which are available all over the place.) watching wiseman play still makes me mad. he's such a black hole on offense. he played well when he had a guy on him who couldnt play, but he almost never passes and just sits on the lane clogging it up for everyone. its 2023 troy, not 1987.
