  1. according to jeiii she is not.
  2. he was on those wings teams when they started to get decent but seemed very flaky.
  3. whoa. but yeah....he got pantsed by miami.
  4. i always liked klima. rip.
  5. hopefully we get to the point where the pistons have enough spacing to draw other people away from the basket and stew can muscle and hustle people down low. grant williams would be fine too.
  6. how many weeks until you want campbell fired? o/u is 1.5. 🙂
  7. were minnesota and the ny giants better teams than detroit?
  8. hopefully he's not from the the dc metro area...
  9. hopefully stew can be kevon looney. wiseman had great coaching in golden state and couldnt do ****. so thosr great coaches gave up on him. i agree with you that casey sucks, but i think this is all on wiseman. he's young, dumb, and selfish.
  10. seattle beat detroit. that's why they made the playoffs and detroit didnt. all we needed to do was make geno and seattle punt. once. and we couldnt do it.
  11. career trajectory and play style/attributes are really two different things.
  12. i think goff and stafford are very different qbs in terms of style and skill set.
  13. athletic: according to the draft boards, lions had the best value pick: branch lions had three of the biggest reaches: campbell, martin, and gibbs.
  14. goff and geno both have questions to answer this year. i dont think that's a controversial opinion. as long as ben johnson is here, i think goff will be a fine game manager, which is what they want him to be. dont turn the ball over, manage the game, dont put the defense in a bad position.
  15. ergo the first line in my post you cited.
  16. we got smoked by carolina so i better not see anybody put carolina below us! lol. i actually think carolina will be pretty good this year, but will be held back a bit by the rookie qb.
  17. i think wiseman is less than worthless. he's a net negative, especially given his salary. terrible, atrocious pick up by weaver. unless, like you say, it was a stealth tank move. given his love for worthless bigs, i doubt it.
  18. geno smith is being asked that question. so is goff. goff was awful for two years and was one of the most turnover prone qbs in the league, and then went the second half of the season without having a single turnover. is that repeatable? probably not. the lions and seahawks are in the same tier, imo. they both have weaknesses. the lions have brought in some players to address the secondary weakness, but havent really addressed their weakness in stopping the run.
  19. 12-11-1 is mediocre at best. lions should be favored to win the division on paper, after that? who knows? we focus solely on the lions. other teams added players too.
  20. the lions have some money to burn, so they may be looking to add some more folks that could make them better.
  21. i'll believe detroit is better than seattle when they make them punt. once. seattle has bitch slapped the lions two straight seasons. beat them first before we start crowing about how good we are. dallas too. the lions in that same group as seattle and dallas is about where they belong. below the niners and eagles.
  22. athletic power rankings has lions at 13. 5th in nfc behind eagles, niners, cowboys, and seahawks.
  23. i like that pickup a lot for detroit. ibrahim was a good back at minnesota.
  24. i did enjoy the recent pistons twitter rant on how james wiseman was the worst player in the nba this year: selfish and stupid on offense, lazy and stupid on defense.
  25. if warriors-lakers goes seven games it will be one of the most watched games since the advent of cable tv.
