he's praising the pistons' defense when they almost gave up 140 points. take that with a grain of salt. is 140 the new 110?
-
how many offensive records are going to be broken this year? its like mid 80s regular season games all over again.
-
and his teammates did nothing. what's the point of having 6'6 guys like rasmussen and soderblom if they play like theyre 5'6? the wings have been pushed around for a decade.

they settled the lawsuit. just like they'll settle the lawsuit all those "injured players" brought because they had to do football hazing. woe is them. they'll never recover and have to live with ptsd for the rest of their days. the important part is that their lawyers will get at least 40% plus costs! anyhoo. fitzgerald is ok, i guess. he turned down michigan before, so sparty fans will hang their hat on that as somehow indicating msu is a better job. he's stuck in the 90s with game theory, but his teams were always fundamentally sound. we'll see if he can develop the "msu mindset" necessary to win there: a single psychotic obsession with michigan.

he wasnt psycho enough for michigan state. i wonder if they try to bring narduzzi back?

really good bounce back win. the only good thing to happen in sports this whole turkey day extended weekend.

the bulls have lost three in a row. those three? new orleans, charlotte, and now indiana.

loser point is better than nothing.

michigan played three good teams all year and got dominated by each of them. they were extremely lucky to play such an easy schedule or they would have seen a repeat of last year. or worse. next year they wont be so lucky. and they are likely to lose a lot of their best players on defense, a defense that was poor against any offense with a pulse. ive never been a fan of sherrone moore. he was too inexperienced to get this job and lucked into it by being able to hang around jim harbaugh for a few years and be in the right place at a time when michigan had no viable alternatives. but he's shown nothing to indicate he can be the leader of an elite program. next year is likely going to be another 3-4 loss season. it will be the year after that when moore coaches for his job. if they arent in the playoff mix in 2 years, he'll likely be fired. a below .500 record next year (and with their schedule, its possible: osu, oregon, oklahoma, penn state, and indiana all on the sked) is on the table. i know there was going to be some rebuilding after harbaugh left town, but they'll need to show some progress next year for me to believe he can build a real program and not just a mediocre one. step one: fire wink and hire a good college defensive coordinator.

what does ron holland do well? try hard? -
"Despite only play 6:30TOI 5v5 Aljo and JBD are a -2 and xGA .982 They were a reason for the two GA in the first 3min of the second period. No combination of the 3rd pairing has worked this year. Ya gotta get a top 4d man to push people down or get a stop gap bottom pair guy."

is there another team in the league who ices the puck unnecessarily as much as the wings?

teams hunt robinson and duren on defense. switch them into situations where they have to guard quicker players. it will happen even more in the playoffs. -

okc is the 5th team in nba history to start 18-1. of those teams, okc has the best point differential.
