  1. come on canucks. i bet a cool $5 before the season started they would miss the playoffs.
  2. he's such a bad player. so passive. sits and watches all night.
  3. theyre not even good!!!!
  4. time to root for them to lose every game. which means they'll go on some useless winning streak and end up picking 14th.
  5. all that's left now is for mcs to come on and tell us how steve yzerman should be fired RIGHT NOW IF THE TEAM HAS ANY RESPECT FOR THEIR FANS.
  6. and so it ends. not with a bang, but with a wings player helplessly searching for his helmet while the other team scores.
  7. wings are outshooting the habs by a ton, but if it werent for talbot they'd be losing 4-1.
  8. they may lose this game, but lets go back to justin holl getting out muscled by a 5'8 winger and jt compher missing a wide open net.
  9. that was a comically bad goal. first, tarasenko turns the puck over with a ridiculous pass to center ice right to a hab. then the canadiens cycle as holl and johannsen crash into each other behind the net. johannsen loses his helmet and instead of checking the man standing alone in front of the net, he goes to retrieve his helmet and the guy he left all alone in front gets a tap in. amazing.
  10. if the wings had drafted lane hutson he'd still be in grand rapids.
  11. raymond in all alone....misses the net.
  12. no coby white, no giddey, no vucevic. somebody has to shoot.
  13. outshooting them 34-11 and its tied. its really just not their year.
  14. they dominated that period. worried that theyre only up 1-0.
  15. lebron is still better than mitchell. come on.
  16. maybe someone really likes holland or duren? throw holland and a bunch of picks to phoenix and see if you can get booker. although i'm sure they'd want ivey or ausar. i'm not the biggest ausar fan but i'd hate to part with him over duren or holland.
  17. beasley went on a run but seems to have come back to earth. he's a good role player, not someone you spend big - or even medium - money and term on. they must have a backup point guard next year. but either ivey develops into that #2 scoring option or they're destined to be cade and the try hard gang every year. we'll see how the playoffs go but i imagine that you'll see a ton of what you sae tonight: stick around for a while but when it gets to crunch time they double team cade at midcourt and make tobias harris or tim hardaway beat you. maybe beasley gets hot and they steal a game. cant see them winning more than one, maybe two.
  18. yeah....but who? nobody wants anyone who might be available.
  19. montreal has detroit, at ottawa, at toronto, chicago, and carolina. ottawa and toronto will go all out to beat montreal. but those last two games are with a team trying to lose and a team trying to rest for the playoffs. if the wings should get lucky and keep winning, its not likely montreal drops all their remaining games. the most liky outcome is montreal wins tomorrow and the season is over.
  20. rangers lose. remain 6 points behind the habs. wings still in must win mode the rest of the way. beat the habs tomorrow and youre 4 points out with a game in hand plus the tiebreaker.
  21. cade cant carry the team by himself. and - once again - they have no answer for lavine and derozan.
  22. i also wouldnt be surprised it ASP is here next year.
  23. next year they have seider chairot, edvinsson, gustafsson, and holl all under contract. and you also want them to sign an rfa? there's not a lot of room for all those guys. i've heard some positive noise about buium. havent heard much about wallinder or tuomisto. i suspect if one gets brought up its buium. i would be shocked if all three are on the team next year.
