    seider made a few mistakes in that buffalo game. giving the puck away. he's going to be great. he's really good right now. he's obviously their best overall defenseman right now. but their best player? not yet. that's bert right now.

    you know, it is possible that dick allen was a colossal jerk and a lot of people took offense to him AND he still merits hall of fame consideration. i'm not sure the revisionist history around allen as some sort of misunderstood individualistic anti-hero is totally true. that said, i'd probably put him in. his numbers merit it.

    honestly, harold baines is in the hall of fame, you might as well let everyone in now.

    as more of a "small hall" kind of guy, i would only really consider dick allen and minnie minoso from that group. but heck, if they let jack morris in, what's the argument against jim kaat? they're pretty similar guys.

    all i care about is cade. he's the #1 pick in the draft. he HAS to be a star or they will never be anything more than a middling 4 or 5 seed.

    i think part of the "value" argument is that the position of tight end really isnt all that valuable unless you are a unicorn like kelce or kittle (if he's ever healthy) or gronk. but hock isnt that type of player. he is a good, solid contributor. and that's good! but if that's your best player, youre in trouble.
