Did they say what happened with the grounds crew person? I don't have any volume on for the game sadly.

He would probably have to take a pretty big pay cut relative to what other teams could offer if he signed in Florida. I guess they could fill out their roster with cheap scrubs if they wanted to go that route, but it looks like to me they have a lot of roster spots to fill with the $18.5 million cap space they'll have. Unless I'm reading their situation wrong haha.

I wouldn't be shocked if guys like him and Kreider aren't being shopped around too, but just a guess. Maybe they aren't looking for a hard reset though. I didn't realize Miller had that many years left on his deal, wonder what his game looks like in those last 3 or so years.

Rangers are allegedly shopping K'Andre Miller. I imagine it would be a high-ish price but could be an intriguing avenue for the Wings to bolster their backend

It seems like Benson has turned into a 3rd line grinder/pest type based on his first two seasons but maybe his offense will blossom in the NHL soon? Looks like Wood had a solid NCAA season last year, though Max Plante scored more per game than him as a freshman. Just goes to show it is tough to predict how players will end up! I'm trying to be more patient with prospects myself.

I thought he'd play a little better after the JR Miller trade but the guy refuses to even shoot on net it seems like. It'll be interesting to see how a new coach does with him (it does seem like the Canucks had a toxic room last season) but he just doesn't look good AT ALL to me. It really is a fascinating case.

I thought Matthew Knies would be the Leafs' Shannahan type dude to help put them over the hump but I guess he can't force Matthews to show up in the playoffs! That Stolarz injury really hurt them too.
