  1. Larkin from Seider makes it 1-0 then Lindstrom buries his first of the season to make it 2-0! Edit: Lindstrom's first of his career!
  2. Both Smiths are supposed to play
  3. Had a long talk with my dad yesterday about how glad we are Holland is with another franchise. He's going to need to work some miracles soon.
  4. Oops sent way too soon lol The Swedes!
  5. The wild have a much better record than I expected them to have. It will be nice to see Karpizov play.
  6. I don't think Chychrun is all that special and thought Zadina did things well in his time on the first line (the Athletic had a good article with videos / gifs of his play) so I'll just stick to my prospect porn: Hanas has 55 pt through 41 games: Best DY+2 players in WHL at current season P1/60 Jake Neighbours, 4.72 (STL, 1st round, #26 overall) Connor McLennon, 4.42 (PHI, 6th round, #178 overall) Ben King, 4.37 Jackson Berezowski, 4.35 Michal Gut, 4.01 Ridley Fiddler-Schultz, 3.85 Cross Hanas, 3.68 (DET, 2nd round, #55 overall) Owen Pederson, 3.66 Kyle Crnkovic, 3.56 Jared Davidson 3.49 Ridly Greig, 3.42 (OTT 1st round, #28 overall)

  13. Greiss having a good game so far https://streamable.com/nn1qsz
  14. It is kinda jarring whenever Seider makes a questionable play but I have to remember he's a rookie haha
  15. I guess Givani got the only penalty here? https://streamable.com/kcei8w
  16. Hey they've had chemistry for a while! https://www.eliteprospects.com/team/552/guelph-storm/2014-2015?tab=stats
  17. Fabbri with a nice hit on the linesman: https://streamable.com/wyloie First goal: https://streamable.com/g6n0r1
  18. I feel like I waffle on this every day, can see advantages to both keeping and trading him
  19. I have no idea why but I get a kick out of Givani always getting uber aggressive after whistles, the other teams must hate him
  20. I think my new strategy is to pick up the opposing goalie in fantasy hockey so I curse them, Bert from Fabbri makes it 1-0
  21. Been up for over two hours, I want to cry lol
  22. I feel like with my insomnia being crazy right now there is a 50/50 chance I sleep through this game with the start time, yikes!
  23. Wallinder picked up a couple assists in his last game, moving him into the scoring lead for junior players in the SHL. Kronwall was in attendance too, here's a roughly translated Swedish article on it with a little interview https://www-expressen-se.translate.goog/kvallsposten/sport/hockey/imponerade-framfor-ogonen-pa-kronwall-/?_x_tr_sl=sv&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp He says Kronwall has probably checked in on him 5 times or so this season in person which is pretty cool. It is nice to see the Wings' player development working so closely with players even when overseas.
  24. They both play the right side so I can't imagine they have. It is kind of funny how it used to be that the Wings couldn't buy a decent right handed shot on the free agent market under Babcock now all of their actual longer term pieces (Seider, Hronek, Lindstrom) are all right handed and the lefties are on their way out (DeKeyser, Staal, Oesterle). So if we think Hronek can figure it out I think the Wings have the makings of a solid right side on the defense corps. Luckily Edvinsson and Wallinder both shoot left handed 🤠
  25. I realize I'm in the minority here so I usually don't voice this opinion but I think he's generally been pretty solid for what he's asked to do. He isn't very sheltered by Blashill (Lindstrom starts a larger percentage of his shifts in the defensive zone than Hronek, it's close but that gives you a reference point), and while he doesn't do anything insanely well he does a good amount of little things that often can lead to good results (at least in my opinion). Things like quick passes in zone to start a transition or being the best defender on the team at getting his shot unblocked and on net from the point (at least from what the advanced stats look like). I think he can be a solid bottom pairing guy for the team for a bit. I may be biased because his hockey cards are cheap on the resale market so I have a nice collection going of him 😂
