DeSantis is just the boring version of Trump.

It won't work, Trump will just make goofy faces and then insult his competitor. That will be good enough for the diehards. Trump has never said anything of substance in over 40 years. He is not going to start now.

Another thing about Yount is he had a reputation of not being in love with the game. Early in his career, he had a contract dispute and threarened to quit the game and become a pro golfer. I know I always always thought of him as a rebel after that, although not really in a bad way. If there was a perception that he didn't like the game or if he really didn't like it that much, that could have affected his number of all-star appearances.

I usually found out about trades listening to the radio. They would have a re-cap of the trades each night during the winter meetings. If it was a smaller signing, I wouldn't find out out until a day or two later in the transactiolns section of the newspaper. When they signed Phillips, I was at a grad school dorm with no TV and poor radio reception. I found out about it in a phone call with my father.

That is a somewhat better viewpoint.

I think there is good chance Trump would run as a third party candidate. I am pretty sure he doesn't give a crap about the Republican party and is only using it to his personal advantage. He would have no problem messing them up. At this point though, I am still thinking he'll get the nomination.

I don't think police intend to to hunt and kill Blacks, but there is racial profiling. I believe Blacks are more more likely to be pulled over for minor traffic violations and are dealt with more aggressively due to profiling. As Gehringer suggested the other day, I do agree that we should trying to do more to rectify things like poverty and poor education rather than policing poor areas into submission.

I enjoyed giving him **** up to a point, but it got old. MarothforMVP, on the other hand, was kind of scary.

The biggest problem with Greene was his 29% k rate which is huge for someone with a .109 ISO. I think he'll improve on that next year, but that's an ugly k rate.

I do think thre are some fans who have overstated Greene's performance last year, but that might be because the rest of the team was so horrible. I will say though that Greene did significantly better than Torkelson offensively .

Not really, but Baddoo is a better prospect than LOL. Unlike Clemens, he is young and still has potential.
