What Ohtani has done the last two years is historic. It's difficult to compare the rest of the league with him.

It is not really an official designation and shouldn't be a big deal They just need to choose a team cap for the plaque and this is selected by Hall of Fame researchers. If you go to the Hall of Fame and read the plaque of your favorite player, you will likely not notice the cap because the face and words are way more prominent. This is probably by design as the HoF is intended to be an individual honor. As you go to visit the other rooms (which are more interesting than the plaque room) you would surely see him represented as both an Astro and a Tiger

Why is that? If he plays 8 years with the Astros with at least one World Series I can see him going in as an Astro. I don't care either way. I will still remember him as a Tiger.

I think AOC is smart but too idealistic. If she never learns to to play the game, then she likely won't get far in politics. If she does learn, I will probably like her less because politicians are full of shit which is one of the big reasons people ignore politics and don't vote.

If he stays with the Astros for a few more years then he'll probably go in as an Astro. If he signs with another team after the season,then I'd guess he'd go in as a Tiger. It doesn't really matter to me. I'll be happy to see him make it either way. I see the HoF as a player avhievement.

I don't follow NY politics, so I don't know what she has accomplished locally. I am talking about her appeal in a race. I doubt she is ready to be President.

I believe she would be a better candidate than people think.

I am not really sure I believe the limo story because it sounds out of character for Trump. This wasn't a first hand story. It came from somebody else, so maybe what she was told may have been a lie or an exaggeration.

As a statistician, I never fully accept of reject anything. Thus, I am an agnostic. I agree with those who say that the strongest evidence woukd be a revelation. What motivation would a god have to make belief be based only on faith?

I want the psychopath out of there. I know DeSantis could be a smart version of Trump, but I don't know that he'll have the same hold on people. I will deal with that battle when or if it happens.

I'm not fully there either. I see a ray of hope that I didn't see before, but it could still fall apart. All the Russian stuff did nothing for me. The second impeachment did nothing for me. I finally get the sense that we may have reached a turning point. Higher level people need to come forward though. I'm not saying the "something" will be an indictment. I am thinking more along the lines of people abandoning ship and he starts losing the poweful hold he has on his associates and eventually his followers.
