I think Correa is better, but Baez has an opt out which means we'll probably miss his decline years. However, if the Tigers got Correa for the same contract as the Twins, I would prefer that over Baez.
What we do know is this: (1)Trump has been praising and enabling Putin for six years. (2) Trump was pushing to end NATO. That doesn't sound like someone confronting Putin.
I also think that MAGAs believe that Trump would have threatened Putin with nukes and Putin would have backed down like a scared puppy as if this is some kind of TV show. Trump would not have courage to seriously confront him like that and Putin isn't scared of him anyway. Probably, the reverse is true.
I have often wondered why they reassign players a few at a time in spring training. For example, Why single out those three when they know hardly any of the invitees are going to make the team anyway? Why not just have a couple of mass cuts? Is there a procedural reason why they do it or are they doing in consideration of the players?
Welcome back Del!
Yeah, S&P is tech heavy which was a good thing until this year. It has gone down to 24% which is still high. Finance has been the biggest gainer this year going from 10 to 14. Energy has not gone up a lot yet which is surprsing. I don't know how they time changes in weights. I am not smart enough to stay ahead of the curve. Otherwise, I would have invested in oil companies this year.
There will be a team or two that overachieves and makes the playoffs this year. That is one of the reasons I hate "tanking". Hopefully, this year the Tigers will be one of them. They are good enough where you can believe it's possible.
Some are that way. Walton probably liked his truck. Many of them like to own lots of sports cars or big mansions without putting a dent in their wealth.
It can be easily looked up. I just don't know how reliable anything is since they don't show their books. One list (from Forbes) showed that all had revenues exceeding operating expenses except the Yankees and Mets. It also showed the two NY teams didn't make much much revenue which was odd.
