Jason Adam and people like him are bigots, but I also don't think they need to be having all these special uniform days. It has nothing to do with the game and it just creates tension.
He's not taking playing time away from someone who is any better, so they might as well keep him in Detroit. He won't learn to hit MLB pitching in Toledo.
He's got a six year contract for big bucks! They would keep him to justify the signing. He will be this bad as far as making contact, but he will likely start hitting the ball harder at some point.
The funny thing is his strike out rate is better this year than his career average (at least before today). He'll be like this for the next six years. Just hope that he gets back to hitting home runs soon.
They could throw sliders exclusively and I still think he'd swing at every one. The funny thing is that he hit sliders really well last year.
