I don't think Joe Biden is innocent with respect to his son's dealings. However, that seems like run of the mill political corruption versus an attempt to tear down the basis of our democracy.

I share your view that I don't have any feelings about him as a person one way or the other. Usually when elderly public figures, even ones that I liked, reach the end (which he probably hasn't), I typically start reflecting on my own life. When I think of Thomas, I think of 1991 which was a good time in my life. I was at my peak athletically, the Tigers were hitting the ball hard and I had plenty of time to enjoy it! Seriously, that is how I remember him. Strangely, when I think of Anita Hill, I think of my current life since we work in the same department (We have had only a couple of very brief conversations over the years). So, in a way, I associate Thomas with a more youthful time in my life and Hill with my current old age. 😃

Everything with him is a grifting opportunity. He is making even more money off Biden's presidency than his own presidency and he doesn't have to be inconvenienced with having a job.

Del Bozo Way too easy.

Hinch said at the end of last year that Willi Castro has some to do to be a major leaguer. You rarely hear a manager talk that way about someone who has been on the roster for a couple of years. Maybe, he did some work over the winter which changed his status, but that wasn't a good sign. Personally, I think a utility guy who can't play middle infield and has played little outfield doesn't belong on the roster.

so...nothing matters in Spring training. Once the games begin, Spring training performamce instantly disappears. Keep everyone healthy and let the real games begin. There are so many interesting players to follow this year.

They never do anything when it counts! Good thing, spring training games don't count. 😀

They said it was only for the 2020 season.

Adam Darowski loves the Tigers.

So, the ghost runner is back this year and it is apparently starting in the 10th inning. No extra inning games for me. Two things I will never stop complaining about: (1) Expanded playoffs (2) ghost runners.- 1,851 replies

A friend of mine just got a job inspecting the field before the game for hidden cameras and watching games to see any evidence of sign stealing. Sounds like a great job. Watching baseball for a living!- 1,851 replies

Spring training means pratically nothing, but I think the Tigers have a chance to compete for the division title as their upside. At lot of things have to go right, but this is the first year in a long time there has been any hope.

I didn't really follow politics much back then, but I really disliked and distrusted Clinton from the beginning. Clinton was a pig, but pretended to a decent person publicly because that's what his supporters wanted. Trump doesn't have to pretend because his core supporters like that he is an asshole. I think the main difference between Clinton and Trump was that Clinton was smart and Trump is a moron (intellectually).
-
I can't emphasize enough that EVERYTHING Trump says or does is for himself and only himself.

That is possible, but it is also what men always say when they blame the victim. I know of several women who have been raped and they were very reluctant to say anything about it until much later because they were afraid of being blamed.
-
Given my life, I'd be confused if that ever happened to me. I think women rarely make up stuff like that and if they do it's someone who they think deserves it based on other things he has done in his life. I know in the high profile political arena, it is less rare. I'm not really blaming him for putting on a fake display if he didn't do it. I am pretty sure it was staged though. If he was outraged, I would guess it was for the reasons Gehringer stated.
-
The display he put on was fake. He certainly could have been outraged internally for the reasons you state.
-
I am pretty sure the outrage and tears were fake. Do I know for sure he raped Christine Blasey Ford? No (I think he did). But the outage and tears defintely looked fake.

This is the year he will add power to his game!

Poor innocent Republicans always being victimized by vicious Democrats. 🤣

It was better only for a small percentage of people. I do agree that MAGAs get offended too much though.
