I used to run to prepare for races of which I've done about 750 in my life. Now, I don't race much because that kind of training beats up my body at my age. I now run mostly to be healthy and because I love being active outdoors. The good thing is I still like it now as much as I when I was racing every weekend. Maybe more so.

I agree the investment class has the power to stop Trump. They own us. I also don't think Trump wants to tank the economy to that level. He wants absolute power, but he also wants adulation and he won't get that from a depression. The best scenario for him might be a minor recession which he can blame on Biden followed by him saving the country. I also think it's a fairly high probability scenario. It's a question of whether the timing will be right for him.

I was responding to stock market "crash" which is not necessarily the result of a recession.

Much of the working class can not afford to invest, so they are not affected as much by a stock crash. I think what the rich look for is middle class investors panicking and getting out of the market as it crashes. That's where the wealthy investors clean up. I don't that is their primary goal though. Their goals are deregulation, gutting the government and privatizing everything.

That is the case for virtually every bullpen. I trust that Hinch and Fetter will the most out of their bullpen, but I doubt that last year's perfect storm happens again. Bullpens are fickle.

With 12 teams making the playoffs, every team should be able to compete, make the playoffs some years and thus have a chance to win it all. Bringing the Dodgers back to the pack isn't going to make it easier.

Maybe the Pirates and Marlins owners should sell their teams if they can't compete. If you have no chance of ever making a post-season with 12 teams, then you are a big part of the problem.

All fans care about now are championships and the Dodgers have only won two of them this century. I don't think they are going to turn fans away.

I like that Harris has not acquired any expensive relievers. I also like that Hinch does not rely too much on any one reliever and is not a slave to traditional roles. Relievers come and go, so you have to figure out which ones have the hot hand in a given year and be ready to pivot when they lose it.

My estimate is 1/3 support him strongly, 1/3 hate him. 1/3 don't know what's going on.
