  1. I go to assassination circle jerk dot come to get baseball news and talk. You can avoid political discussion a lot easier on that site. Even if you only follow sports posters on Twitter, you can't scroll half a screen without geting flooded by far right propaganda.
  2. It's going to be hlarious when everybody finds out that crypto is all a ponzi scheme.
  3. You know what else is inconsistent? Tigeraholic being a conservative Trump skeptic for years and then going full MAGA instantaneously. wtf is that?
  4. They should. Even though we know it's coming, we should. J6 (including everything that came before and after) is a huge stain on this country.
  5. I'd rather focus on bigger threats.
  6. What they did to Mike Pence was inexcusable and threatening. I just didn't think the gallows were practical or would be used for anything. If they wanted to hang him, they could have done so without the gallows. I don't think there was a plan to hang him, but all it takes is one crazy person to do something and Trump did nothing stop the rants ot the riot. In fact, he seemed to enjoy it . That is where my focus lies.
  7. The customers (students) seem to think it does.
  8. Part of university learning is being introduced to people who have diferent backgrounds and different viewpoints from you. DEI definitely has a place at universities.
  9. I always thought the gallows was just for show. I really doubt there were any plans to use it. I am not condoning anything that happened that day or the events that led to it. I just don't think the gallows was anything to be concerned about beyond ugly symbolism.
  10. I like reels. They have the only online engine that gets me. They give me Tigers highlights, math problems and beautiful women running up and down mountains. What more could I ask for?
  11. I have heard both pitchers and batters complain about the clock. As for going home early, I think they may like it, but I also think pro athletes are highly motivated and competitive and likely take the game home with them more than say a 9-5 office or factory worker. Given all the travel and post-game BS they have to endure I think it probably takes a full day off for them to wind down which is why these are baked into the CBA. They probably don't like the really long games more because it takes them out of their rhythm and tires them out fot the next game more than wanting to punch out early. My original comment was about whether fans liked the extra inning runners. I have seen a lot of fans say they hate it. I have seen a lot of fans say it's tolerable and practical, more and more each year as would be expected. I have't seen much enthusiasm for it, but the group of fans I followed is biased.
  12. They get done 20 minutes earlier though!
  13. The billionaires will get to keep doing it though.
  14. Small towns would last the longest, guns or not.
  15. Petzold mentioned that the Tigers are making a push for Ha Seong Kim. He's very interesting and will likely sign a little shorter term than other big names due to injury concerns.
  16. Then why do they complain about the pitch clock, something which makes games shorter every day?
  17. 20% of Democrats own a gun. That's about 20 million people. That's more than enough to provide powerful resistance. It's not like there is going to be millions of people fighting a war on the streets. The United States military could crush the left and right if so inclined, but I don't think that is a likely scenario.
  18. What percent of farm employees would that be?
  19. I'd rather they got paid a fair wage and be allowed to stay. If someone is productive and stays out of trouble, I want them to have a quick path to legal immigration.
  20. I think it's an abomination, but giving us a normal 10th and 11th would definitely make it better. Not many games were going longer than that before the rule change anyway.
  21. They probably like it, but I don't think it makes a big difference. They just avoid a small number of long games during the season. Where it might make a big difference is pitcher management and maybe protecting arms. Regardless, if fans were 90% against it, it wouldn't happen. I don't think the majority of fans like it, but the ones who really hate it are probably the ones MLB is not worried about losing.
  22. This was my first thought when I heard it. If you bring up your best hitter in the most important moment of the game, he is going to be walked intentionally very frequently.
  23. Both are good. I often have almonds in my trail mix.
  24. I do. I usually put them in my daily bowl of oatmeal
  25. I don't remember the majority of fans liking the extra ining base runner.
