It would shock me if they went 16-1. Teams just don't do that anymore (though the Chiefs might because their division is so soft). The last time a team only lost one game was the 2015 Panthers. Before that, the 2011 Packers. Before that, the 2004 Steelers. None of those teams won the Super Bowl either. It's hard to sharpen iron when you're not getting battle tested. To find a one-loss team that won the Super Bowl, you have to go back to the 1985 Bears. Which, hey, if you want to call Dan Campbell the next Mike Ditka, might as well go all in.
There's a lot of season left to be played though and I expect at least one close loss and one stinker too. I'll guess a close loss to the Packers and a stinker at Chicago. 14-3, still good enough for a first round bye.
