As far as confidence goes I’m at about 95% too. This is the most confident I’ve been about an election in my adult life. But crazy **** could happen.

I knew Eberflus was a bad coach after I watched his team turtle into its shell up 12 on the Lions in Ford Field last season. The game where the Lions, down 12, scored 16 points in less than three minutes. I hope he stays in Chicago for another decade.

I think Iowa will take weeks to determine, but ultimately won't matter.

I changed the margins on two states a little, but otherwise nothing changed from my last map. I hope it doesn't bite me in the ass. Go vote! For the right candidate!

It's insane to think about just how good this team is when you consider where we were four years ago. Even three years ago. Halloween 2021 we lost 44-6 to the Eagles at home to drop to 0-8. A car hit me crossing the street after I left Ford Field. Flash forward three years, we lost the front runner for DPOY three weeks ago and didn't lose a step, improving now to 7-1. No car has hit me since.

I'm old enough to remember when the Saints were 2-0 with a +62 point differential.

I'd be more shocked if he's suspended than I was that he was ejected. He'll get a hefty fine for the hit, made heftier by the double birds. But he'll be back next week, albeit with lighter pockets.

It would shock me if they went 16-1. Teams just don't do that anymore (though the Chiefs might because their division is so soft). The last time a team only lost one game was the 2015 Panthers. Before that, the 2011 Packers. Before that, the 2004 Steelers. None of those teams won the Super Bowl either. It's hard to sharpen iron when you're not getting battle tested. To find a one-loss team that won the Super Bowl, you have to go back to the 1985 Bears. Which, hey, if you want to call Dan Campbell the next Mike Ditka, might as well go all in. There's a lot of season left to be played though and I expect at least one close loss and one stinker too. I'll guess a close loss to the Packers and a stinker at Chicago. 14-3, still good enough for a first round bye.
