Was Mason Rudolph's fumble of the snap in OT, inside the ten with a chance to end the game with a TD, evidence of the hangover? -
Great finish in Buffalo. 61 yard FG with five seconds left to break the tie and the hearts of Dolphins fans after Tua had led a game-tying drive.

Google tells me that's a $3500 bag. And a $10 sweatshirt. 😂 -
Yes, this is probably right, and a lopsided halftime score allows him to get the story out eight hours early. Florio is a blowhard but he has sources.
-
Not that weird. It’s been rumored for weeks and Florio’s tweet came out at halftime of a game that the Browns are losing at home, 20-3.
-
Score in the Browns game as of late in the second quarter is leaning toward a fire sale tomorrow.

Seems like Talbot had a good game. Nice to see Kasper buzzing around a bit.

In the trade thread on Oct. 14 I said: “We have the Vikings, Titans, and Packers before the trade deadline. Something tells me Brad and Dan will wait to see how the pass rush holds up against MIN and GB before making a trade.” This is what has happened. Brad and Dan were never going to panic like fans, nor were the other GMs going to conduct fire sales so early. After Sunday, a lot of teams will know if they gave themselves a glimmer of hope or if their fate is sealed. I suspect Holmes has laid the groundwork for a few possible trades with teams that might end up being sellers as of Sunday evening. If the Browns beat the Chargers I don’t think they will be sellers. If they lose, I think they will and I hope a 4th would get Smith. If Miami loses to Buffalo (likely) they will be sellers. Jeff Risdon suggests Emmanuel Ogbah who fits the size profile they look for. So yes I think they should and will make a move but it won’t be a blockbuster. -

Yes, Brad Holmes has done such a poor job of building a roster he needs a loss tomorrow to teach him a lesson. 🙄 Love is a game time decision. If he plays, something tells me AG will do his best to make Love test that groin. They will send anyone and everyone to make Love run all over that muddy and slippery field. -

Temps in the 50s. 50% Chance of rain. The tundra won’t be frozen or anywhere near it. Anytime Detroit gets to play in GB in these conditions is a huge plus. Keep it on the ground. -
The bigger point is that some players are just not going to be traded, even if fans think they should be. The Browns made the playoffs last year and even though they had a terrible start to this season, the AFC has a lot of mediocre teams competing for wildcard spots. I take this as a former GM telling the audience how he would politely ask another GM to BTFO.

Yes, I know all scores are automatically reviewed. As I said the NFL is over-officiated. And it is lame. But not as lame as dropping the ball in the field of play.
-
This moran on the Jets dropped the ball before crossing the goal line. Cut him before he reaches the sideline. Edit: FWIW I think it is lame that they reviewed a play like that. The NFL is way over-officiated. But they should call that guy an Uber and send him home now.

The roster seems short of players that are abrasive to play against. It also seems short of guys who are abrasive to play with. Coaching matters but there have been too many games the past few seasons where the team just seems to lose its composure. It is one thing if coaches call guys out but it is another if your teammates do. They don’t seem to have that kind of leadership.
-
I agree with this. A lot of guys we think are available might not be available yet. And maybe a few guys we don’t think are available could be after Sunday. Also, I’ve thought since the injury that they would want a few weeks to evaluate their backups and determine how significant their need is. Seems like they were high on Muhammad’s performance.

Sometimes they are treated worse.

How do you know this? What data do you have about the number of stops that are made like this and the number of times these stops lead to arrests or charges? We make cops wear body cams because they are alleged to be too hard on black men. Now people are using the body cam footage to say cops are being too easy on black men. It seems the only winners in all this are the sanctimonious journalists who use snippets of body cam footage to manufacture moral outrage then cash in on it.
-
What I don’t understand is why people are getting their panties in a bunch that police did not escalate a situation with a couple of young black men who didn’t hurt anyone — except a few people’s feelings.
-
It is possible that he is being treated more harshly because he plays for the lions. It is not clear whether police would have gone through with an arrest had he just been some average Jaymo. But they chose not to arrest him. The only reason that this incident is being revisited is that he is a member of the Detroit Lions. it is not necessarily irrelevant for him to have said at the scene that he is a member of the Detroit Lions. Police might have assumed that he was involved in some criminal activity or was affiliated with a gang. By telling them that he is a player for the Detroit Lions, he was indicating to them that they should not be suspicious that he was involved in any other criminal action. Yes, he is immature. But they didn’t necessarily pick him for his maturity. They picked him because he is hard to catch. And the cops didn’t catch him that night. 😂 clearly, I am not on board with all of the pearl clutching. He is a kid and he should grow up. But he has not hurt anybody. He has only let himself and his teammates down.

If he’s not listening to advice from his coaches and teammates, he is not listening to people on social media enough that they enable him. 😂 He’s just living in the moment.
