  1. Trumps lawyers were still arguing the notion that the president needs to be impeached before he is criminally charged..... I wonder what happens when a president just resigns before he gets impeached. If he does that, is he unable to be criminally charged?
  2. good trade, good pick. LFG
  3. kickoff return specialist would have filled a bigger need than cb
  4. parent company, never seen it before. Curious to not use the regular URL.
  5. yeah, seeing a lot of chatter that a very possible "outcome" of the hearing we just heard was remanding it back to the DC court to define the categories of presidential duties which of course would be more of the delay that article talks about and also probably the single most corrupt outcome. That's the outcome that actually gives Trump and no one else some immunity
  6. This doesn't seem like it's going well for either side.
  7. Jack Smiths guy talking about how they gave congress immunity via the speech and debate clause, but specifically did not do a form of immunity for the president, strongly suggesting framers didn't want it.
  8. Good! Thanks guys, I don't know much about his case honestly but it's good to know he isn't going anywhere near free because of this.
  9. truer by the minute, she's utterly eviscerating him right now.

  13. IDK, I recently learned I can get free access and I was like, nah I'm good.
  14. CSPAN is interviewing people waiting outside of the SCOTUS hearing today and this lady they were interviewing literally called herself a "missionary for trump"
  15. Well if they started accusing you of antisemtism based on something you actually posted that would be a first here.
  16. My understanding is Gavin McInnes has an alter ego that he uses to generate content where he basically goes and makes fun of liberals/progressives/whatever, like the Good Liars basically, except in the other direction politically. He's not there in solidarity.
  17. Guest on C-SPAN just mentioned something I totally forgot, which is that Jack Smith asked the court to take this up way earlier.
  18. I used to love all of those bands too and now I don't listen to a ton of it but I think Bon Jovi (from that time period) is legit good. Livin on a Prayer is a top 5 tune for me. I love it. Runaway is aweome too. And I can't believe someone has never leveraged the typo I just made, bong jovi
  19. I agree it's amazing how you can't see the other eagle the AI removed from his shoulder
  20. Some observations: 1) Apparently Trump is going to argue that "ensuring election integrity" was part of his official presidential duties, and he shouldn't be prosecuted for carrying out his official presidential duties. Problem is, ensuring election integrity is a STATE matter, STATES administer elections, not the Federal Government and certainly not the President. 2) The SCOTFS and SCOTUS historically have been aggressive in seizing power in relation to the other branches of government, main example being when the court granted itself powers not in the constitution to strike down laws passed by legislatures. Would the SCOTFS *really* give the President the authority to flout the SCOTFS if they so desired?
  21. Today the Supreme Court of the Federalist Society will hear arguments and then disregard them, and then decide 250 years of people reading the text of the constitution just didn't see that president's are immune because reasons Audio will be live on CSpan. If she is arguing today, Solicitor General Prelogar is very impressive.
  22. The eagle really ties it together
