  1. I genuinely don't think a lot of people here know they can do early in person voting yet I'm also banking on it being a super fast effort to vote tomorrow whihc makes it less pressing to go early
  2. lol @ Klanpain
  3. Any Michiganders or Michiganians take advantage of new in person early voting now available to us? I think this will become my preferred method esp when the GOP controls stuff. However I didn't go this year to see so I'll be regular in person tomorrow. I dont trust Republicans with my mail in absentee ballot.
  4. Great post man, I agree! Ann Arbor's library is awesome too. I've gotten dozens of guitar effects pedals from there, as well as 4 synthesizers. They also have full size skeleton you can get, he's kinda famous around town. Those are just the things I'm interested in from there, all kinds of stuff available!
  5. it's hard for me to have a lot of sympathy for someone like schlapp given how much damage he's done but that's gotta be one self-hating, conflicted dude
  6. zztop thinks that beard is hard core
  7. sort of tangentially related, but my long time gripe is that if taxpayer funds, facilities, and resources are used in these primary elections, I shouldn't be restrained in who I can vote for. At least I can pick one or the other party and vote, but I think it's trash that I can't vote in both. I think it's even more trash that some states administer these primary elections with taxpayer resources and people aren't allowed to vote. I love Democracy but the way we do it leaves a lot to be desired.
  8. Wayne is a top 3 most contemptible person in politics, right there with Don CHump and Alex Jones. So sad to see it.
  9. So now they're reporting that the Biden impeachment witness that lied to the FBI was..... wait for it linked to Russian intelligence. Same folks don't want to help Ukraine. Total coincidence again I'm sure
  10. I think how the bond/fine is paid could be a real political gift to the Democrats. If someone helps him, such as another individual messaging from Democrats should be that trump would be unduly influenced by that someone
  11. Doesn't he have to bond the whole 300 some million in order to appeal?
  12. The commission is being pressed perhaps even legally to change the lines.
  13. Maybe chump was smart enough to leverage the Biden record stock market? Lmao
  14. Sounds like it could be something about nukes in space
  15. In some ways, electorally, the conservative media environment is a gift to Democrats. Republicans are so consumed by their own media and righteousness they repeatedly fault the voter rather than themselves for their electoral losses. Because of this, they just do the same thing over and over and over which is move to the right. Combined that with the gerrymandering and grifting.....
  16. I've been hearing about the GOP reforming itself for years, since at least the "autopsy" after Obama ruined Romney. I wouldn't hold my breath on that one
  17. lol @ polling
  18. apparently the jabronis that spectacularly didn't do anything about immigration last week just impeached mayorkas for allegedly not doing anything about immigration
  19. There are parents that do, but many do not. They either don't know that their kid is doing it (same problem as with parents protecting children from content), they don't care that their kid is doing it (or have learned helplessness), or they want their kid to do it. But those well meaning parents are also struggling against a troll/bully culture that is strongly fostered and encouraged by social media
  20. ......then add in ai photo generation
  21. yeah what he said ^^
  22. As was mentioned earlier it's the pervasiveness that is different now. When we were kids, if you got bullied at school you went home and didn't get bullied anymore until the next day. Now, you go home, and it continues online. Perhaps even worse than in person. If a parent thinks "keep them off social media" protects their child, it doesn't - the bullying doesn't stop just b/c the victim doesn't see it b/c they're not allowed on the website. That decision could be unilateral disarming which has a whole host of other implications.
  23. Couldn't agree more, especially regarding the children. It's those lil ****bird kids that deserve it the most. Those lil terrorists deserve every bomb they get given they inaccurately contemplated the geopolitical implications of other people's actions before those other people committed those actions
  24. You should let all parents abd principals know they have nothing to worry about. It's too bad you didn't googlr for all of them earlier
