    I have two friends from Venezuela and Ven winning the WBC meant a lot more to them than any US fan if the US won. I was rooting for the US and was hoping for a great game. I got half of what I wanted and ultimately I am happy for my friends. As a baseball fan and a fan of sports stories, I was very satisfied.

    So the US can get Italy or Venezuela. Part of me would like to see a rematch with Italy because it would be the revenge game. Venezuela has more brand recognition and would probably be the more competitive game. So, do I want better baseball or “the story”. I think the story would be over relatively quickly and I could go to bed on time.

    We have two Samsung tvs and they both have the MLB app. Currently we have ATT air and it does a fine job of streaming while we’re on devices. It’s a little glitchy with the MLB app (it evens out after a bit usually). However, because I think this will be a historic season, I ordered starlink which purportedly has speeds three times faster.

    I was in line at a drive thru recently and I could clearly see the dash mounted phone of the car in front of me. Dude was playing online slots at 7:30 am. Degenerate.

    In theory I should despise the new uniforms released to the public today but, in a strange twist, I actually like them. I wish they’d return to the pullover style away uniform top of the 70s and 80s though.

    I ride on the sidewalk all the time but we don’t have a lot of foot traffic where I ride so it’s not an issue. I would imagine that it being illegal in Chicago is trumped by it causing lots of issues with pedestrians and bike riders colliding etc.

    You are correct. I was referring more to the game played on a long wooden table as opposed to the ground version.
