  1. I'm ecstatic tonight. This was one of Harbaugh's biggest wins. When his team had their backs up against the wall they showed toughness and responded right back all game long tonight. This was a well coached, well played game outside of a few errant throws that missed their mark by McNamara. Other than that, I was really satisfied with the performance and the result. Great job Harbaugh and Michigan.
  2. Way to go Jim Harbaugh and Michigan!!! That was a big win and they hung tough the whole game. Great effort by us tonight and it feels good to hang tough from start to finish. I thought this game was going to get away from them when Nebraska got two back-to-back scores but Michigan answered back offensively and shut them down after that.
  3. Moody with another big pressure kick!
  4. What kind of a play call was that???
  5. They should have used a timeout there because that defense had no idea what was going on.
  6. A much needed touchdown there to stifle the momentum Nebraska was getting.
  7. It's a big game, so of course they are. That's Harbaugh's MO.
  8. Where was Cade throwing that?
  9. That was sooooooooooo stupid. I can't believe how lucky Michigan just got there. He should have let that one go.
  10. Big TD there off of a lucky PI call. I'll take it though!
  11. Terrible call, Michigan got away with a generous pass interference call.
  12. Terrible play calling on the drive with a tight clock and limited time. Edit, nice run anyways.
  13. Disgraceful! This game has been one blown call, review, and delay after another.
  14. No, clearly not, that's why he got shipped out of town. Goff had a good season or two worth of football and then regressed back to who he normally is. Few QBs are worth the salary and cap space they take up and it's hurting teams when they pay 15%+ of their salary cap to a guy who doesn't live up to expectations.
  15. Whether it is Matthew Stafford, Kirk Cousins, Matt Ryan, drafting Malik Willis this year and watching his career progress, or any other QB in the league, you will never convince me that it is worth paying your QB 15-16-17% of your teams total cap space when they have won nothing of note ever and have that lack of success in the playoffs and against upper tier/above average defenses that Stafford has. You just can't anchor your team to that kind of a contract unless they are an elite QB. Just ask Minnesota with Kirk Cousins now, who is taking up 16% of their cap space. If you are preforming at the level of Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Patrick Mahomes, you can get away with doing that. Otherwise, you're just as well off finding yourself a Baker Mayfield, Trent Dilfer or Peyton Manning the Denver years and taking that excess cap money and spreading it around to make your team better elsewhere.
  16. Actually not only was her middle toe longer, but she was missing her right arm as well. I lost my stat sheet on his numbers against good defenses (top 15 ranked or higher) when the old message boards went down. His record against defenses ranked in the top 15 was something like 22-61 and his statline in-terms of QBR, completion %, and total TDs were all down.
  17. Someone should have asked him why he didn't score a single TD after the first half in one playoff game and didn't get into the end zone at all in another. Some players step up and take over in big games and some fade. I never liked the idea of paying a guy 16-17% of my cap space to watch him ghost in a big game.
  18. Of course it has. Who do people think Matt Stafford really is? A top 5, elite QB like Brady, Rodgers, Wilson, Allen, etc.? Did they expect that he was going to suddenly blast off into the MVP stratosphere and take the Rams to a Super Bowl? He's an overall good, sometimes great, sometimes elite, sometimes below average, sometimes awful QB. A guy who lacks consistency. A guy who has never been able to carry a team or put it altogether and deliver when the chips are on the table during a meaningful game. His stats against top-tier defenses and winning teams showed us this during his tenure here. His performance in big games and playoff games showed us this. Why would it suddenly change? Why would he suddenly, more consistently, become an elite QB?
  19. That Stafford for MVP talk is starting to fade and Stat Padford is coming back down to Earth. Last, as is usually the case, he couldn't get it done and win a big game against the Cardinals throwing for a slightly above average 2 TDs, 1 INT, 280 yards, a 63% completion%, and a 63 passer rating. Tonight he doesn't look much better with 0 TDs, 1 INT and 131 yards in the first half. And yes, of course I recognize he beat the defending Super Bowl Champs in week 3, but if he loses tonight he will be 1-2 against teams with a winning record/
  20. Malik Willis Scouting Reports . . . The Draft Network: What Malik Willis Needs to Improve The Draft Network: Malik Willis Taking the Next Step
  21. I think early indications are from reports I've read that Willis has a stronger arm than Jackson. I read one former Auburn Coach, Pat Dye, who compared him in an ESPN Radio interview to DeShaun Watson. I can't really say what Willis is or what he will be, but as of now, I'd consider him someone worth our #1 overall pick.
  22. If someone felt comfortable taking Lance (I did) then drafting Willis is little different because the talent level appears to be similar.
  23. Freep: Miller's Bar in Dearborn Listed For Sale They better not close down Miller's once the sale goes through.
  24. I hope Raffi doesn't preform in front of kids dressed like that!
  25. Urban Meyer is turning into a disaster 4 games in. Maybe he wants to get fired so he can take the USC job?
