  1. Good stick there by Harley to deflect that puck away.
  2. Big game Bennett coming through. Nice to see them break the Southern Province's 5on5 strength and score full strength.
  3. SCOOOOOOOORRREEEEE!!!!!!! CANADA!!!!!!!!!
  4. A missed opportunity off the rebound with a near empty net. The Southern Province's goalie was out of place.
  5. Yeah, a real wasted opportunity given the way the southern province is playing tonight.
  6. Waaaay too much passing by Canada on that powerplay. They needed to get a shot off there.
  7. I noticed we had another nearly 500 point down day with the Dow today. Another Trump slump in the market today.
  8. I watched a good amount of SNL growing up. I have the first five seasons of the original cast SNL in a DVD box set too. I really enjoyed the 50th Anniversary Special as a whole. But Adam Sandler's song, with his mentions of Norm and Farley really moved me. As well, at the end of the show Jane Curtain and Laraine Newman holding up the photo of the late and incredibly great Gilda Radner made me to tear up a bit. That was a nice gesture at the end of the show.
  9. Often injured, signed to a one year prove it deal at the right price. Sounds like a Brad Holmes guy for sure.
  10. Can we go back to being a British colony? At least we would have the NHS and get free healthcare. Can you ****ing imagine if Barack Obama posted autocratic bull**** like this.
  11. https://trumpgolftrack.com/ There's also a website that tracks his lazy golfing habits. Those shanked drives sure are bringing down grocery.
  12. He has to be the laziest President in modern American history.
  13. No need for an MMR vaccine. Just go around and say MAHA and RFK Jr. will appear like Mary Poppins with a spoon full of measles. MAHA Bro.
  14. Altering the childhood vaccination schedule, on the scientifically unfounded basis that vaccines cause autism, is so dangerous and destructive. There is a reason we don't have children and adults living in iron lungs today. The is a reason we've be able to control measles, mumps, and rubella outbreaks and that they're not killing thousands and thousands of kids every year. For RFK Jr. to re-examine and change the childhood vaccination schedule without thorough and rigorous scientific research behind any decision being made will potentially have a significant, negative impact on the health and welfare of kids around the country.
  15. AP: Kennedy says panel will examine childhood vaccine schedule after promising not to change it Make Polio Great Again. Make Measles Great Again. Make Diptheria Great Again. Make Hepatitis B Great Again. Make Rubella Great Again.
  16. Everytime we see you supporting Trump and his nominees this is what we think . . .
  17. It makes me sad and angry that the Trump Administration has gaul to go over to Munich, where the Nazis Beer Hall Putsch took place in 1923, and lecture the Germans about defending democracy. They did this after Trump and his MAGA allies committed the Beer Belly Putsch on January 6th in an attempted coup to overthrow our government.
  18. Has a kicker ever gotten fully guaranteed money in a contract?
  19. By a government buy out you mean socialism right?
  20. I'd be alright with signing Fuller at the right price. Outside of last season, on a slumping Dolphins team, Fuller was a better player than Davis for most of his career. He graded out higher than Davis with PFF and played better in man coverage for his career. If the Lions think they can get him to bounce back to form and get him at a fair contract, I'd be alright with looking at him in free agency. I have other priorities I'd rather they target first, namely pass rusher and offensive line to solidify the interior of the line. But it's clear we still need help at CB and depth in the secondary overall. Davis has never played a full season in his career and never played more than 15 games in a season. Fuller has played 15 or more games 5 times and played two full seasons. I get that Fuller got injured too, but through his career, he's showed more health and reliability than Davis. In an ideal world we'd be able to keep Davis, add Fuller as a cherry on top, and still have money to get a significant pass rusher. If the Lions look at Fuller and think he's not the type of player they want or that he's done in the NFL I'm fine with and trust their evaluation too.
  21. Whoooooops.
  22. So I've thought about this since the news came out that Myles Garrett wants to be traded. I would love to get Garrett and have a dynamic pass rusher like him to go along with Hutch. That's obvious I think to every can. Just as much as they though, I would love to prevent another NFC team from getting him. I do strongly think he's going to end up on an NFC team next year. I don't want it to Chicago, Washington or Philly and a team we have to face come playoff time. That's a primary concern I have. But in the event one of those teams or another NFC team gets him I want us to approach this offseason with a newly minted aggressive mindset. I want us to go get Trey Hendrickson from Cincinnati. I actually want Hendrickson probably as much as I want Garrett. I wanted Hendrickson all last year and still want him now. Cincinnati is in cap trouble and is looking for ways to restructure deals and save money to keep Tee Higgins around. The most obvious way to keep Higgins around is for Joe Burrow to do what he's already said publicly he wants to do, that's restructure his contact. The other way the Bengals could save money though is to trade away Hendrickson and his contract and get draft capital back in return. I'd love to see us make a splash and get Hendrickson if we're not successful with getting Garrett.
  23. Big night for the Tkachuk with each of the boys getting two goals. Brady and Matthew looked really good and so did Hellebuyck in net (no surprise there).
  24. Was the RB position considered a need when they drafted Gibbs? In their eyes it must have been to an extent. To a lot of arm chair GMs and fans I don't think they had RB as a need after signing Montgomery. I know I didn't look at the position as a need going into the draft that year.
