  1. The party of freedom and individual choice.
  2. I love when Trump supporters claim people are being mean to them when they went around wearing and displaying **** your feelings t-shirts and bumper stickers.
  3. Trump had him over for dinner with Nick Fuentes. I heard he served them Italian food. I don't know what they ate but I heard it was NOT ZITTI.
  4. This is Donald Trump's friend and supporter Kanye West.
  5. There is not much of a chance that Vancouver moves Elias Pettersson right?
  6. I'm far more concerned with a handful of oligarchs and billionaires in the top 1% controlling 30% of all the wealth in the US and controlling 40% of all new wealth. But if you want to make trans people the focus of your time and attention while Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and the billionaire class are picking your pocket and ****ing you up the ass, go right ahead and misdirect your time and attention.
  7. I was thinking this myself. Is there a world where you could get Garrett for minimal draft capital by taking on Watson's contract? It seems the cap number doesn't quite work. That's the ugliest and worst contract in sports history, save for many Bobby Bonilla. So I'm not sure I'd do it even if the numbers added up.
  8. And when Howard Stern asked if he could call Ivanka a nice piece of ass Trump back "Yeah" to it.
  9. That's capitalism people. You all want a free market, you all will get a free market.
  10. Another MAGA self own. This is what these people wanted.
  11. I'm a big fan of that Flaherty deal. We now have three solid, reliable starters in the rotation again and were able to do it for minimal costs. Well, we should be resigning Skubal to a big deal, but that hasn't happened yet.
  12. There's nothing to be perplexed about here Mr. Trudeau. Our President is a corrupt, narcissistic, know-nothing moron. A guy who doesn't understand the first thing about basic economics and has largely been a grifter and a subpar businessman his whole life.
  13. Trumpflation will be in full effect.
  14. In last year's draft if they had a talented player, who was a cultural/character fit, that they graded higher on their board, but the position they played wasn't as big of a need, I think they'd take that player instead of Arnold. Example, in the 2023 draft many fans wanted the Lions to take a pass rusher/Edge or CB with their first, 1st round pick. Fans wanted Jalen Carter when he was sitting there for them to take and they traded back instead of drafting him. Once they traded back, Christian Gonzalez was sitting there for them to take, fans wanted him, and they went with Gibbs instead. I think they grade out their talent, ensure they are a culture fit, and rank them on their board. Take Player A and Player B are being graded in the draft by the Lions front office and coaching staff. Player A and Player B play different positions. Player A is graded out by this organization slightly higher on their board than Player B is in-terms of overall talent + culture/character + scheme fit + need than Player B. Player B is still a very good player in the eyes of the organization and fits a need more in the eyes of most fans and pundits. However, Player A is ranked higher on their big board than Player B is and thus, I think they are sticking to their board and taking Player A over B, all things factored in.
  15. Isn't tomorrow the day that Trump is support to start his Trump Tariffs on Canada, China, and Mexico? I thought February 1st was the deadline.
  16. I think Kasper's future can be at center, but given that we have Danielson in the system and Larkin on the roster, he may end up working out better as a top or second line winger. I see him as a good, facilitating center for sure, but we have a bit of a jam there that may bump him to the third line if he stays at center. He seems to have a nice combo of grit, toughness, and playmaking finesse. A guy with a nose for the puck who can help facilitate and create opportunities for goals, more than just being a pure goal scorer. I didn't think he'd be a 35-40 goal scorer when we drafted him, but could be a very tough, very solid 50. I liked his puck and stick handling, creativity, ability to keep the play moving and puck active, and general nose for the puck.
  17. It didn't bother you when Trump immediately made a political issue out of the devastating hurricane in North Carolina and the southeast last year. You still voted for the guy.
  18. I remember last year when there was a devastating hurricane that ravaged the southeast and North Carolina in particular and Trump immediately politicized it after people died and then Tigeraholic1 still voted for him. Sick!
  19. The same day as a horrific crash that has caused a loss of life and our Defense Secretary is on Fox News talking about bull**** instead of being briefed and doing his job.
  20. AP: Trump fires heads of TSA, Coast Guard and guts key aviation safety advisory committee From the article . . . Members of the Aviation Security Advisory Committee received a memo Tuesday saying that the department is eliminating the membership of all advisory committees as part of a “commitment to eliminating the misuse of resources and ensuring that DHS activities prioritize our national security.” The aviation security committee, which was mandated by Congress after the 1988 PanAm 103 bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland, will technically continue to exist but it won’t have any members to carry out the work of examining safety issues at airlines and airports. Before Tuesday, the group included representatives of all the key groups in the industry — including the airlines and major unions — as well as members of a group associated with the victims of the PanAm 103 bombing. The vast majority of the group’s recommendations were adopted over the years.
  21. Very bad people those kids and pregnant women. I thought we were only deporting harden criminals right now?
  22. This team drafts BPA and sticks tightly to their board. If they don't have a first round grade or high second round grade when they are drafting, they won't reach for the player. My personal first round draft preferences are edger or interior pass rusher or an interior offensive lineman who can slide over to Center one day. That may not match up at all with what Holmes and Campbell want.
  23. KEEP PLAYING THE KIDS!!! Really happy to see the step forward that Kasper has taken over the past 3 weeks/month. The more and more ice team he gets, especially with top 2 line talent, the better he seems to be getting.
  24. So we're not defunding local police departments, fire departments, Headstart preschool for kids, and Meals on Wheels programs for seniors now?
  25. https://newrepublic.com/article/166358/disastrous-legacy-new-democrats You can thank Bubba Clinton for killing the New Deal era policies of FDR and LBJ and ridding the party of New Deal era Democrats as much as Reagan. It was Bubba and his acolytes that started the New Democrats and the Democratic Leadership Council in Washington DC. It was Bubba that gutted welfare with the switch from AFDC to TANF. It was Bubba that doubled the extreme rate of poverty in this country. It was Bubba that enacted NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT, and PNTR status with China. It was Bubba who deregulated media (TV and radio) with the Telecommunications Act of 1995. It was Bubba would replead Glass-Steagall and replaced it with Gramm-Leach-Bliley. It was Bubba who deregulated the commodities and derivatives trading. It was Bubba who killed local banking with the Riegel-Neal Interstate Banking Act. The Gipper definitely started an era of massive deregulation, tax cuts for the wealthy elite, globalism, union busting, and an erosion of social welfare in this country. Reagan deserves a hefty amount of criticism for all the devastation his policies caused, in particular on economic issues. Reagan hurt many, many millions and millions of people with his economic and social agendas. That said, I feel Clinton deserves in on the share of criticism for the mess we are in now economically. Instead of building off the New Deal and Great Society he reversed that trend and continued down the path Reagan started us on.
