  1. If Cossa isn't on the main roster next year then I guess I'll start to worry more. He's still only 22 as of now and won't hit 23 until next season, so I suppose I'm fine with him getting more seasoning in Grand Rapids. I just don't want this turning into another Ken Holland situation where we keep playing useless veterans players (Husso) over him because our GM prefers playing vets and trying to win now versus letting a young player make his mistake but grow from them.
  2. Did Dementia Ron even remember his second inauguration or was the dementia only prevalent when doing something illegal like Iran Contra?
  3. Unless they truly believe he simply can't handle doing so, what's the argument against playing him 3-5 times a month at this point in his career?
  4. I remember thinking when Martha finally canned Martin Mayhew and Tom Lewand, but then promoted Rod Wood to Team President, that Sheldon White was going to be the next Lions GM. That Martha would do exactly what her husband did when he canned Millen and promote next man up on the list in White. Not that hiring Bob Quinn worked out any better it didn't. But I thought when they interviewed Sheldon White after Mayhew was let go that he was just going to get the job.
  5. Yzerman is turning into Kenny Holland in that regard, leaving players in the minors for far too long. Cossa should be up here and Husso should be LTIR'ed and outta here.
  6. Do we know if Payne will be playing for Washington? He hurt his finger or hand in the Tampa Bay game. Not having him play seems like a big boost for our running game. I would assume he's going to be back playing.
  7. It's too bad it isn't 17-3 Vikings because then Stat Padford could get those meaningless 4th quarter yards lol
  8. Darnold doesn't look good tonight at all.
  9. Daniels showed poise under pressure tonight in the playoff game. I thought he played a good game all and all.
  10. Washington it is next week.
  11. Big Cecil, Travis Fryman, Randy Smith for teaching us that you can indeed trade half your team for a player, Juan Gonzalez, who didn't want to be here from day one.
  12. Philly's offense has been largely flat today too. It feels like this score should be further away than it is with more points on the board for the Eagles.
  13. Turnovers, missed field goals, the Packers don't look sharp in this first half.
  14. That's a no then. Who the hell wants to take on Copp or Chairot's contracts unless you're rebuilding and you get an extra draft pick attached to take such dog**** contracts.
  15. Only on Planet Earth, in the NFL, is that ruled an incomplete pass and not an interception.
  16. This is not an exciting game. It's sloppy offensive football with some good defense.
  17. I know Buffalo has been in a perennial rebuild, but would anyone want to take on that Copp contract?
  18. So Couzens for a 1st + Kasper + a mid-level prospect + their willing to take on the expiring contract of Petry?
  19. What version of Couzens are we getting? The 22-23 version that scored 68 points or last year's version that had 47 points? He seems to be on pace this season for the 47 points he got last year, or maybe even fall below that. I'd offer them a 1st and see what they say. I don't see Yzerman giving up Danielson for him.
  20. I'll begrudgingly cheer for ND. I can't bring myself to pull for Ohio.
  21. Ohio State scores early. I really hope Texas doesn't let this game get away from them.
  22. You misspelled Gym Jordan. Trump honoring a man who covered up the sexual assault of young men on the Ohio State wrestling team is really sad.
  23. Almost as good as when Trump honored that pill popping, misogynistic, racist Rush Limbaugh with the medal of freedom. Honoring a bigot like Limbaugh with the medal of freedom is bad itself. I don't think Hillary or Soros should have been honored in this way by Biden. I've made disdain for the Clintons well known and will continue to.
  24. John Dorsey has been a GM and had success at it. I would interview Dorsey as well before Spielman.
  25. I really think the biggest "need" for the Lions in the offseason will indeed be the offensive line. They have an aging Oline with Decker, Glasgow, Ragnow, and Zeitler all pushing or north of 30. I'd like to see them get their future RT in the first round. I'd like to add another long-term, starting Guard at some point in the draft. I don't know that they will move on from Decker next year, but I'd like they to get a long-term starting option at the Tackle position.
