With legalized gambling, I’m starting to think it’s playing a part in these calls. I can’t believe we live in a world where ridiculous and obvious lies are just going unopposed. We as a society should be flipping out about this.

Seriously, this league has a HUGE officiating problem. Huge. Unreal.

Love to see a blitz. I’m not saying we need to blitz every down, but mixing in blitzes will really help the defensive backfields. This shouldn’t take this long. OMG, this league is screwed.

I wasn’t following as closely as I would have liked last year so I can’t say for certain. The defense was a disaster and looking at that score I can see why. That game was the start of a 3-2 stretch 😉

Love that Houston got the sack. And there were discussions here about how bad thenCowboy’s defense is. They lost Parsons and still have a better pass rush than the Lions.

No arguments there about needing help. If the Packers or some other annoying team like the 49ers stumble and the Lions back in, great. Anything can happen in the tournament, I guess. I just won’t have a rooting interest in other games based on how it affects the Lions. That ship has sailed for me with the pathetic showing the last few weeks. I hope the Bears win the NFC’s top seed. I like TB too, so maybe they can go on a little run. Rams are my 3rd choice. I guess my respect for Stafford outweighs my dislike of McVay. Although I actually didn’t mind that they lost to Carolina, so maybe I don’t care about them at all?

He was saying we should not want to root for the Bears because the Bears losing to the Packers helps our chances. I was saying I don’t care about that. I want the Bears to win every game not against Detroit. If the Lions win out, great. That would be amazing. But I’m not going to hope that the Bears lose to the Packers. I hate the Packers and respect what the Bears are doing with the players they have.

I don’t care about that. The Lions have played their way into this situation, they need to play their way out. Not rely on others to lose to save them.

I’m not convinced they’ll be the favorite for Dallas. Dallas has a lethal passing offense and a strong interior DL. Will Goff have time and be able to find passing lanes? Can we cover the big 2 receivers long enough to slow them down? This game on paper could be a bad time.

They’ve earned it. I think I’m going to root for them outside of when they play Detroit.
