Willi's OPS and average are higher than the following players who are purportedly mlb caliber: Candelario Baez Schoop Grossman Barnhart Haase That's the only reason he is playing. It also doesn't mean he's good. But we are two months in and everyone else still hasn't heated up or gotten near career norms.
