  1. BTW, PFF is legit laughing at the Lions....... Their biggest draft winner was "Jack Campbells Agent"...... Ooof.
  2. Porter Branch Mayer I'll be happy with any of these guys. I really wouldn't mind Levis too. He'd be a great backup/understudy for a few years. Let him play under Goff for 2 years. Then we have a decent QB and insurance. A lot of options......
  3. ROFL. When I read this, I thought of the movie Draft day where the really old guy goes, "WHose Fabio?" - "He's a shortstop from Cleveland....."
  4. Eagles look unquestionably winners of the draft getting Smith.....
  5. https://sports.yahoo.com/2023-nfl-draft-live-tracker-picks-trades-analysis-and-much-more-from-kansas-city-230027801.html its wierd that these guys are announcing the picks like 5 minutes before ESPN.....
  6. Will Levis's girl will be this year Aiden Hutchinsons mom..... calling it now.
  7. My therapist wants your number..... You're making me feel a lot better pretty quick.........
  8. Thanks! I missed that. The tweet I saw was 6 for 12 and 34 only from Schefner.... What a douche for lying.....
  9. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp - 34 and 81 would be worth the next 4 picks...... So this is the land of trade ups if it were to happen for 34......
  10. We just added 3 backfield studs. Shoring up the LB position doesn't seem like such a bad idea.... Now given, I'd have made other picks but I really hope Brad knows what he's doing. He's earned some slack.....
  11. Ok Brad.... We all said we'd trust you. This better pan out......
  12. - Major Clickbait. He doesn't say that but its funny. But watch his shoutout the last 30 seconds ROFL. NIL at its best!
  13. I'm with you. I want to see what Mitchell can do. I thought he was a 1st or 2nd round talent last year but fell due to injuries. If I was the Lions, I'd be hoarding those types of players from round 2-7. Take every injured player that falls that is extreme value. If 2 or 3 shake out, more power to you......
  14. https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/this_lions_bills_trade_proposal_sends_intriguing_dt_to_detroit/s1_17150_38737995 Hrmmmmmmm. 🤔
  15. If I wasn't married and this actually happened, I would propose to you..... If the lions walk away with Anderson AND Robinson, that is a draft win all in itself.
  16. I just don't see another team knocking on the door to pay him $40mil+/year.... He's ours, lets deal with it and build around him. Now having said that, I do want them to take a QB as a backup. I really like the guy out of UCLA but I am no means a NFL qualified evaluator. But I do think we should have a really good backup. Aaron Rodgers for all the crap people give him sat behind Farve for what, 5 years? Now with him moving on, their backup QB has been there a few years. I don't expect that big of a dropoff that everyone else assumes. They've played pretty smart with their QB's and I think thats something we can learn from as well......
  17. Isn't it safe to assume that Goff is pretty good and is a legit #1 QB in the league? If so, why are people wanting to get rid of him? Keep him, sign him to an extension, and just load up the talent around him where even if he isn't the Messiah (no blasphemy intended), he can still do good because his surrounding cast is good enough to elevate even a decent QB into greatness? (Side note: If we don't view him as a $40/year QB, what other teams do, that would sign him to a contract like that? What are we missing?) If we are that concerned, use Pick 6 on an Olinemen and trade up from 18 to the early teens and draft Bijan. Now the offense is elite, and we still have a multitude of picks to use on defense for depth/project players where we don't even really need anyone. I don't understand what is so complicated with people harping on Goff. He did well for the Rams and last year he won 8 of the last 10 games. What else do we realistically want from a QB?
  18. Way to curse it.... Now he's gonna trade out of 6 and not get any of those guys.......... 😡
  19. Realistically, I want to know how many roster spots are available right now.... I'm guessing 4, maybe 5? So anything above that we are just drafting cut guys..... Doesn't make a lot of sense. If they can get 3 first rounders and a 2nd or 3rd, that'd be a good deal imo. Or trade 6 back closer to 20 but pickup a 1st next year. I still think there's good additions we can use late in this draft. Or say we get 20 (hypothetically) and a 1st next year for 6. Package 18 or 20 with a second to get back up to the teens and then you basically traded a 2nd rounder for a 1st next year and set us up all over again........
