  1. Paddack is horrible, I do not understand why so many teams were in on him. It was reported this morning multiple teams were bidding on him.
  2. So, I am a Reds fan that grew up closer to Detroit (Toledo, OH), so I still follow the Tigers as well. McLain is indeed at 2nd. However, he has not been particularly good this year, and he could always move to the OF or 3B. Not sold Sal Stewart will be able to stay at 3B as he gets older and larger. Also, Max Anderson is another trade chip the Reds could use to acquire more talent in the offseason for an actual run next year. They have a solid young rotation and Elly De La Cruz. If they don't do much again this offseason it will be terrible.
  3. Herring isn't a fringe prospect. He is trending up pretty majorly, was just drafted last year. He has been lights out this year. That is a good get for McMahon. That tells me the asking price for Geno is huge.
  4. Ha He was among the top 5 pitchers in baseball down the stretch last year and can pitch out of pen and rotation. I think he is a perfect pitcher for the Tigers, honestly. Take a look at what he did 22, 23, 24.
  5. Didn't say I did, ha. Just curious how the Tigers prospects are viewed. This guy is around 10th ranked in system according to mlb pipeline.
  6. Tigers Get: Nick Martinez Reds Get: Max Anderson Who says no?
  7. This might be the craziest thing I have ever read. And I am currently reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.
  8. Yes, he is really fun to watch. This is first time in awhile the Reds have a star position player. Unfortunately, he is a Boras client and it was reported yesterday the Reds have offered him extensions but they are "far apart" - AKA he wants to test FA. Reds have to build a winner like right now, and this team ain't it.
  9. Fun series this weekend, I honestly cannot believe the Reds came back yesterday. That was either the 1st or 2nd time they have come back from being down after the 6th inning this season.
  10. So Friedl for a bucket of balls?
  11. So like I was saying, we thinking Friedl for McGonigle? 🙂
  12. The US is absolutely horrible. We are the baddies.
  13. Reds offense is very hit or miss. They usually do not fare well against bullpen games. My prediction? Tigers 5 Reds 1
  14. I think there is going to be a bidding war for Nick Martinez. He is kind of a perfect pitcher for a contending team. He has been very solid as a starter and has back-end of the bullpen relieving experience.
  15. It’s almost as if the officer in Texas did not escalate the situation immediately. It honestly blows my mind you can watch those two videos and say the officers did the same thing
  16. Incorrect. Stop lying. Here is the video. The police office stood in front of him while Beto made his point while the idiots from Texas yelled at him that he is a "sick son of a bitch" https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2022/05/25/uvalde-texas-school-shooting-beto-orourke-interrupt-greg-abbott-sot-vpx.cnn
  17. Said he was a senator and asked a question? The horror.
  18. This is absurd. Just a few years ago Beto O'Rourke hijacked a press conference after that horrible shooting and they just booed him. This is beyond the pail, and folks that think this is normal and OK are FULLY the problem.
  19. You mean celebrated? Because half the country just got very erect over that video. Legit wild, kind of thing that sparks a civil war.
  20. Lmao I totally forgot Reds were playing Tigers tomorrow
  21. All the side stuff aside, kinda nice UM and OSU won back to back titles shortly before the sport as we know it comes crashing down.
  22. I am going to ask these two on both the reds forum www.redszone.com and here and compare. I will report back. I think the Reds are somewhat keeping their heads above water right now but by the deadline will be solidly out of it. The offense just isn't good enough. The Reds really need OF help, and the Tigers seem to really be lacking in OF prospects (I am not including Clark because I am assuming he is untouchable), so probably not a good fit. Please feel free to reply back with what you think would be a good return as well. Emilio Pagan for INF Hao Yu-Lee Emilio Pagan for RHP Troy Melton and Justice Bigbie Before you scoff at Pagan, he has been really solid this year - .87 WHIP and I think he is the perfect reliever for Comerica Park's dimensions. TJ Friedl for one of McGonigle, Ranier, or Briceno I would prefer the Reds extend Friedl, but I wasn't born yesterday, so I know that is not happening. What say you?
