That's what you got from that post?

I was really down on Sawyer the last couple of years, however, after the Oregon game Day took 100% control away from Jim Knowles, who was using the DEs to contain outside runs and not blitzing with them at all, Day gave control of the DL to Larry Johnson and next thing you know Sawyer and JTT unleashed hell the rest of the year, including against Michigan. I think if OSU had a different DC during Sawyer and JTT's tenure they would have had much different careers. As for being a sore loser, yeah, he lost his cool after losing to Michigan for a 4th time in his last season in college at the school he grew up rooting for 10 miles down the road and made a mistake, otherwise can you point to one instance where he was a sore loser? But even so, what, do you want a guy that is a-ok with losing? I bet Campbell would rather have someone who hates losing than someone that just shrugs and goes on their way. I find it amusing, Michigan fans quickly forgave Donovan Edwards for retweeting anti-semitic remarks but grabbing a flag is unforgivable.

Was a good game - With that said, I cannot believe how much OSU basketball has fallen off the last 10 years. Just a garbage program at this point. Holtmann really did a number on it. They have trouble getting people to come to the games at the gigantic arena at this point and there is zero momentum. A lot of OSU fans say they should have gotten Dusty May, but I do not think Dusty May would have wanted to come to OSU, at the very least, why would you choose OSU basketball over Michigan basketball? A much better program that takes basketball seriously.

Michigan Football 2024 aka The Year Michigan has to Defend a Natty

I mean, you said in this post what he did wasn’t wrong and then said “he broke a rule” - not sure what else to say. as for the extremely biased Netflix doc, I’ll pass. -

Not really, just responded to another poster saying Stallions was a genius that did nothing wrong. You will get no argument from me the SEC was cheating like crazy. -

You are refusing to understand what I am saying. The poster I responded to said Stallions is being attacked for developing a new way of doing stuff and being cutting edge, etc. He knowingly broke the rules. Acting like he is some choir boy that did everything the right way but is getting attacked because he was too good is just nonsense. Hopefully his "manifesto" gets released soon. -

Everyone does not send advanced scouts to future opponent's games and record the sidelines lol. Come on man. I am not saying it is or is not a big deal, but that is just silly. The reason everyone does not and did not do that is because it is literally against NCAA rules and Stallions knew that. -

Exactly, college football is gross right now (always has been), I am not sitting here saying every team isn't tampering, but I am not going to pretend it isn't happening lol

It it totally tampering, but I didn't complain about it or say it was illegal.

2024 - 2025 Detroit Tigers Offseason
RedTeamGo! replied to AlaskanTigersFan's topic in Detroit Tigers
I was listening to MLB radio yesterday on drive home from office and, I forget who it was, but one of their former GMs they have mentioned that he heard Bregman just really doesn't want to live in Detroit. I think you are right, will have to be last team standing, it sounds to me like he simply wants to stay in Houston -
I agree, which is why OSU didn't screw around with it and just paid him what he needed. They want him to be drafted with a block O next to his name and are going to pay whatever it takes. Next year as well. With that said, I was surprised they paid Carnell Tate as well, when the rumors broke they were both being tampered with during the leadup to the natty, I figured they would have to use the Tate money to keep Smith. I think OSU wants to keep the WR factory chugging and are just going to pay WRs whatever it takes to keep them. This also helps recruiting because the elite WRs know that if they are good at OSU they are going to get paid while in college and will likely get drafted in the first round.

The defense will be worse, but still good IMHO. It is hard to have a good offense when your QB is so bad, though. A decent QB makes everyone else better, especially RBs.
-
Oh trust me, I am definitely enjoying it, but I also like to talk about college sports, lol. I don't think the OSU fanbase has much of a chip on their shoulder. Especially after the last couple of years.
-
Yeah, I meant the run to the 2024 title last year. Michigan would have been damned good this year if they didn't inexplicably believe Alex Orji and Davis Warren were good enough.

The majority of OSU's "crazy!!! spending" was for the retention of their own players. They brought in Caleb Downs and Judkins, but other than that it was a TE from a MAC school, the older Styles brother that barely played, and a freshman QB that left Bama after Saban retired and OSU finished 2nd in his recruitment. You cannot tell me Michigan didn't spend a bunch to retain all of their 40 some upperclassmen for the 2024 run. Give me a break.
-
Oh please, its the NIL era, everyone spends a bunch of money now, including your morally superior Wolverines. Michigan brings in more transfers than OSU. Not to mention the $12 million to a high school QB. Obviously OSU spent money on their roster, but it has been widely reported Oregon and Texas spent just as much, and its believed Oregon spent more.

Kinda feels like the DNC is cooked. It seems like the youth is breaking to the right. The left has already lost older americans. I mean, the right is going after women's rights and they didn't even do that well with women this election. Kind of seems like America is broken. Unless you are on the right, then happy time, I guess.

Michigan Football 2024 aka The Year Michigan has to Defend a Natty

He left hurt last game, right? haven’t heard what’s up with him. hongbit mentioned players with high draft grades potentially leaving early now that the season is effectively over (outside of trying to beat OSU for a 4th time in a row). I was curious if there were any rumblings of Johnson shutting it down. He’s a legacy, though, so I would be surprised, but I certainly couldn’t blame the young man for thinking about his future and making a business decision. -

I completely agree tampering exists, that is why I am confused as to why UM went into this year without a QB. Michigan has clearly tampered with multiple transfers the last few years (this isn't a negative, literally everyone is doing it) Anyone with half a brain knew JJ was going to declare. There is no way UM actually thought he was going to stick around for another year. Also, in this age of NIL and transfer portal, etc. They could haver tampered with someone between the winter and sprint portal and got someone to "enter the portal" in the spring window. -

It honestly comes across as arrogance from Moore. He must have just said “we will run all over teams, they cannot stop us. We don’t need a QB” and goodness is he wrong. -

How in the wide of world of sports did Michigan go into this season without a competent QB? I mean, hell, Indiana got a kid from the MAC and he’s been excellent. It’s so weird to me. I mean, I get they entered the portal market late and JJ didn’t declare for draft until late and the uncertainty with Harbaugh and potential sanctions. But, there weren’t any transfer QBs still available or any in the spring portal? Zero they could bring in? Did Moore really coach Orji, Tuttle, and Warren for years and say to himself “we are fine”?
