What do these moves mean for Holland? SG - Ivey/LeVert SF - Thompson/Robinson PF - Tobias/? I guess Thompson can play here a bit. More so than Holland probably.
-
They are not trading him after today. He can pout all he wants but he has 3 or 4 years left on his deal.
-
So much money. Why? I assumed before the gambling accusations we were bringing back Beasley. Robinson is the white Beasley. Light it up in the regular season, be ass in the playoffs when teams start to play defense. At least this way we dump Fontecchio, I guess.

He signed in Denver for the vet minimum and they still overpaid.
-
Finally some good news. THJ to Denver on a one year deal.

Depressing
-
They have done a nice job assembling a lineup that won't win anything
-
So he is broke. Suit: Beasley, subject of betting probe, had financial issues
-
That is one reason. But I don't think Detroit would do it. The big one is it would let them keep their mid level exception they are using on Schroder. They could sign more free agents or trade for a guy that fits into the exception without having to send a player out. It basically would give them more flexibility.

He can't sign for 6 days, so it's always possible they keep trying to find a S&T.
-
Wonder if that means no S&T. Hopefully it means no Monk.
-
Calling BS on this. No way you make a move like that without knowing Giannis will stay.
-
Dame getting stretched on Bobby Bonilla day is fitting.
-
I don't know how you win with $22.5 million in dead cap space for the next 5 years.
-
Great deal for NY.
-
I doubt they are in salary trouble now that Turner left. But I would be on the phone with Indiana asking about Nembhard, Nesmith, or McConnel. Any one of those would be better than Monk and Robinson. Also better than LeVert, but you can't go back on that deal.

Exactly

Last month we discussed bad drafting and how much it hurts a team. Don't get me wrong, it does. But nothing compares to a stupid GM making stupid deals. I think Milwaukee is about to find out just how much it hurts.
