I don't know anything about this Lanier kid. His release looks a bit low, which could be problematic. But the release is lightning fast, he gets that shot up in a hurry.

Calling off 7 BB's when he is 125 deep is what big stacks are supposed to do here. But what I loved was the, "I didn't insult anyone" line just after insulting everyone. I guess there were other incidents with him before this. He has been banned for the remainder of the 2025 WSOP, which is only going on another 3 days or so. Most feel that will be extended into the 2026 WSOP, and it should be.

I saw the video of Duren practicing threes. It immediately reminded me why Detroit struggles so much in developing young players. Duren took 546 shots last year. 478 of them were within 5 feet of the basket. How about you get a 12 footer before you start practicing the most difficult shot in basketball. He doesn't need to start bombing away from three. That little 12 footer would do a lot to open things up for Cade and the offense.

Multiple articles today about how Lebron is unhappy. I would love if the new owner called a presser. Then announced he isn't that concerned with how Lebron feels since this will be his last season playing with the Lakers.

I had completed the season when I said that. Much better than 3 but still behind 1 and 2 IMO. I see they were picked up for S5 though.

I want to crap on the Bulls before Buddha can. Patrick Williams will make $18 million per year for the next 4 years. Herb Jones will make $19.4 million for the next 5 years.

My Herb Jones dream goes up in smoke. Pretty sure that means he can't be traded for 6 months. The Pelicans are going to be a wild team. So much mismanagement, but then they have a couple of gems. Herb Jones at 5 years and $97 million is a fantastic contract. Then they have Trey Murphy for 4 years and $112 million. That might be the best non-rookie contract in the entire league. Things are pretty bleak after that, though.
