  1. They showed a graphic in the 1st half that said Cade is tied for 2nd among guards for points in the paint. Him and Fox are #2 at 11.4 and SGA is #1.
  2. 45-43 Pistons at the half. Sengun and Cade lead all the scorers with 14.
  3. WTF Was Holland doing? You could see that charge coming from midcourt.
  4. Stewart starts the break by diving on the floor for a steal. Cade finds Fontecchio for the transition 3. Tie game.
  5. Sengun abuses Stewart. Pistons switch it up and bring in Redd. Sengun abuses Reed. Sengun is good.
  6. https://apnews.com/hub/ap-top-25-college-football-poll Big Ten has 4 of the top 5 teams in the AP poll. Top 5 in order: Oregon OSU Texas PSU Indiana
  7. Something not discussed much anymore. Bitcoin is at an all time high of just over $80,800. Of course, by time you read this it will probably have gone up/down another 10%.
  8. Pippen Jr. had a triple double the other night. It was believed to be the first father-son duo to record a triple double. But now people are saying Dolph and Danny Schayes did it before the Pippens.
  9. Ken Jennings said Jeopardy will start streaming in early 2025. It will include the 41 previous seasons as well. He said mostly likely it will be on Hulu or Prime.
  10. The On/Off numbers for this team are interesting. On court number. Only two players have a positive number. Stewart at 3.3 and Fontecchio at 1.6. Every other player is a negative number with Cade almost being positive at -0.8. Sadly, a few guys have positive off numbers. That means the team does better when they are on the bench. Ivey at +1.6, THJ at +2.2, Duren at +1.8, and Holland at +0.5. The combined numbers see a few more positive. Stewart is the best at +10.1. Fontecchio is #2 at +6.7. Cade is +5.7. Harris +2.6. Beasley is exactly 0.0. Now the bad, guys with negative numbers. Duren is the worst at -9.3 followed by Holland at -9. THJ is a close third at -7.3 with Ivey at -5.7.
  11. Not quite as dramatic as Cade last night since they were up 5. Huge night from Mobley. 23 points 16 rebounds 1 block 4 steals 1 assist. Second time this week that Cleveland has been behind by at least 10 in the 4th only to come back and win.
  12. KD and Zion are both out. Both will be reevaluated in a couple of weeks.

  14. NBC was probably thrilled to get the FSU-ND game at the start of the year. Now its a prime time stinker.
  15. Sounds like Ja will be out about a week.
  16. It helps he is attempting career low shots. Less shots from an inefficient player is always good for an offense.
  17. Ask around. Most will feel blank posts from me are an improvement.
  18. Not convinced the defense is better just yet. The Pistons defensive rating right now is 112.3 and last year at the same point in the season it was 112.5. That ranked them 16th in the league. They ended up finishing over 118 so lets see how the other 72 games go.
  19. Shame the Lions are on the road. A Pistons-Lions double header might have actually tempted me to attend a live sporting event again. I remember in my late teens doing a Michigan game at noon. Oakland University soccer game at 5PM and a Pistons game at 7:30. I would need 2 or 3 naps to do that today.
  20. Cleveland already has 5 games where they have scored 130+. They had 4 all of last season. Golden State has the leagues second best defense. Cleveland scored 136 against the Warriors last night. They had 83 at halftime. Cleveland is 10-0.
  21. Cade and Thomas are tied for second at 5.
  22. He tied Thomas last night for career triple doubles at 5. Grant Hill has 29 total and Cade tied his record last night of 3 consecutive triple doubles in a row. Another one Sunday would set a new Pistons record.
  23. The Bucks are a hot mess. Giannis stops his interview to scold someone. No clue if it was a teammate or coach.
  24. We have a Killian Hayes sighting. He is playing for the Long Island Nets in the G-League. His first game was last night and he had 19 points and 8 assists. He shot over 60% from the field and 1-3 from three.
  25. He picked up one of the better offensive players in the league at 40 feet. Denied the 3PT attempt and stayed with Young to the hoop to contest the shot. Stewart rotating is how defense is done, he is supposed to be there for the contest to take away the middle. That is why Ivey is fading Young to his left, so there is only one angle to the hoop and it gives Stewart a shot to block it. Even without Stewart, Ivey is there to contest what would be a hard shot to make. That is all you can ask for when guarding someone as talented as Young. If we want to nitpick, we should talk about Cade. Ideally you want him to slide down inside of Okongwu to replace Stewart. But whatever, he got the block to recover.
