And Presti doesn't screw up drafts like Weaver does. That is probably the larger point here. Especially since I believe Detroit has the same amount of first round picks as OKC since Weaver arrived in Detroit. Weaver screwed himself with that Hayes draft. Missing on a top 7 pick and then going out to attain more picks and bringing back a mediocre return hurt him right out of the gate.

Excellent ad.

Not a bad pick as a dark horse ROY candidate. 29 years old. The best player in Europe last year. Shoots well from three. Going to a good situation where he can spot up and let SGA and Giddey feed him. Just looked at MGM and he isn't even on the board.

No subscription so I can't read it. But the headline suggests Gores has switched to win now mode. Tom Gores: Pistons rebuild has taken longer than planned. It's time to win now

That is an odd one for OKC. Sacramento 43.5 is really a head scratcher. They won 48 last year. Orlando 35.5 is another. They won 34 last year after starting 5-20. This seems low.

DraftKings has the Pistons win total at 27.5

So the other rookie has not enjoyed the success that Ausar has. Sasser is taking 6 3PT shots per game and only hitting at 16%. I have not been that impressed with his defense either. And those were the two things advertised when we picked him.

Huh. I thought they were done. I bet Ausar doesn't play.

I wasn't trying to bash anyone. I do it as much as anyone else. Its fun and harmless. I just think (Hope) Ausar looks like a very different player in 3-5 years.

Why are we so obsessed with comparing past players with guys who have never been on an NBA court?

It is definitely possible I am a unhinged person on a power trip. But I would have my refund in my pocket to use on therapy to work through those issues.
