FWIW, On3 came out with new rankings yesterday and they have AJ Dybantsa over Flagg and Boozer. Dybantsa is a 2026 kid.

I think a lot of people are shocked by the dollar amount and don't realize the cap is $136M now. Not uncommon for a bench player to get the full MLE which is $13M this year. So $15M a year is only 11% of the salary cap this year. That dips down into single digits next year. Decent value for a possible 5th starter or sixth man type guy. Even more so for a center who defensively is somewhat switchable on the perimeter. The Bagley extension generates a lot more anger from me than the Stewart extension.

He actually has more value to a good team. Most playoff teams run small lineups in the playoffs and Stewart is a very nice small ball center.

My respect level for Andre just went up a bit. Shame he didn't realize this 6 or 7 years ago.

Could look like a really good deal if he continues to improve. I don't think its insane to think he improves a bit more this year and could be a $17m-$20m guy next year if he was a FA.

That was bad. To be fair, I'm shocked he is playing a $10K buyin. He plays cash games that total the final table payouts on a weekly basis. Seems like a waste of his time.

I have a relative that is a college football coach. He once told me the coaches always know. That article didn't even mention the worst allegation. They did something called the car wash. Guys would get naked and stand at the entrance to the showers and spin around. Then the underclassman would have to walk through the naked spinning guys to get into the shower.

Even though they failed, that was a very nice move by the Jazz. Utah isn't making the 2nd round this year so that clause was never kicking in for them. But it will for Philly.

Bigs that don't play defense are so useless and this team is full of those types. Jabari Smith was a disappointment last year. He started to play pretty good the last month of the year and it looks like he will continue that. His handle even looked better tonight. I wish they had sat Ivey down. There is no reason to have him out there. Let Asuar and Sasser run the show and see what they can do.

Well, Boozer was great but it was Cayden and not Cam that did the damage. 21 points and 15 assists while Cam had foul trouble and only had 5 or 6 points. Cayden is a top 50 prospect himself so no shock there really. Flagg wasn't great but still was pretty good. 3 games in the last 24 hours has to be tiring him out a bit, even at his age. Most have Cam ranked higher but to me Flagg is better. Elite sorcerer at all three levels. Insanely good help side defender and great rim protector. FWIW, Flagg was playing against 3 guys on the other team ranked in their classes top 50, with Cam being #1. So it was good competition. Fly all three over to Vegas and let them play the rest of the week.

A few people complaining about the pay out. But they are only keeping a 7% rake and that is very good. Not uncommon to see live tournaments take 20-25%. I think people just saw they kept $7m and gasped at the big number not realizing it was only 7%.

The two best prospects not in the NBA are Cooper Flagg and Cameron Boozer. Both will be juniors in high school this year and are playing in this weekends Peach Jam AAU tournament. Last night, Flagg had 34 points, 20 rebounds, 10 blocks, and 5 assists. And that was the second game he played that day. Earlier in the morning he had 37/12/10/6. Flagg's team goes up against Boozer's team today in the championship game. You can watch it on ESPNU at 2PM.

Crazy SGA is probably already a top 10 player. Giddey looks good. Williams was fantastic as a rookie last year. And the #2 pick in last years draft hasn't played one second yet. Then all that draft capital.

Ausar - No clue about his offense from this game since he didn't get a lot of chances. Nice half hook lefty finish on the one drive. Good from the line. Defense, oh boy, he was really good. Kept his man in front of him all night, even switching onto a PG a few times. His movement is really fluid. Had 3 blocks and they only credited him with 1 steal, but he had very active hands. I think he has 4 or 5 deflections. His rebounding was great and I loved the few times he grabbed it and took off up the court. Made a couple of really nice open court passes as well. He looked comfortable. The sub pattern with him seemed odd. He didn't seem to get long stretches to build momentum. I wish Popcorn Machine did summer league games so I can see his minute distribution. I also wish we saw more movement from him on offense. Ivey - He had like 3 TO's in the first 2 minutes. His defense is still ass. If a defender sags off of him Ivey can get by him. But if the defender is up in his chest, Ivey doesn't have the lateral quickness to get past him. Go watch Jalen Green. You get into his chest and he will cook you. Chalk it up to a bad game. I'm sure every NBA groupie on earth is in Vegas this week. Maybe he was distracted. Duren - Still terrible on defense. His shot was falling so that is something. Maybe it is PTSD but I still get Drummond vibes from him. Kinda lazy, uses his length and athleticism instead of technique. Wiseman - Really pulling for him since he has the most upside of the bigs. But I don't know man. Him and Duren will really benefit from playing with Cade. Bigs need a good PG. Sassar - Mixed bag. Hit a few threes, defense wasn't much to write home about. I was annoyed he fouled a 3PT shooter. Livers - DNP-CD. Going to play the odds here and guess he is injured. Nobody else is really relevant.
